Very clean property and room. Staff went out of the way to get us a roof after telling them we couldn’t check in at 3 has to be before. They accommodated us by finding a room for us. Would recommend this Hotel anytime!!

It was a lot of loud music outside a lot of bikers ribbing up their motors all night long and plan their music all night i left Saturday night because of the loud music

Good experience overall - staff were very friendly and helpful and everything was very clean. We just seemed to get the room that needed a bunch of things fixed - phone didn’t work, sliding shower doors were broken so there was barely enough room to squeeze through the opening to get into the shower, sink faucet leaked water all over the counter every time it was used, toilet flush handle had to be pushed back up every time you flushed so it wouldn’t keep running, outlets on the wall under the TV didn’t work, and one of the can lights in the ceiling by the window flickered constantly when it was on. It was also a little surprising that during our 3-night stay, the cleaning staff didn’t really do much to our room other than empty the trash and replace a couple used towels & rags that we used on the first day. The breakfasts were great though, so thank you for that!

This hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The staff is wonderful. All of them were helpful and very friendly. The room smelled a little musty, but we would stay again.

Nice stay as a home base. Our non smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke but the staff was courteous, the breakfast was good and the pool was clean.

Room was nasty could feel the sand on bed from last renters. Dirty used bandaids in drawers of cabinets (gross) Old groceries still in refrigerator. Will never stay here again

Overall our stay was okay. We only stayed one night. I slept pretty good. The bathroom was upgraded. Which I liked. Above the shower looks like there has been a flood or leak at some point. Our bathroom sink was clogged. My husband tried to undo it and pulled out clumps of hair and who knows what else. So gross. The carpet was dirty. Lastly, the smell of the place is bad. Idk what the smell is though. Mildew? The pool? Idk. I thought maybe it was just the lobby area, but no. We were on the 4th floor and it smelled the same.

Was overbooked when I showed up, and are saying I cancelled my booking and won’t give me a refund. Rude staff. Dirty and had humid dog smell.

The woman who checked me in made it seem like it was a huge ordeal to ask for 1 extra pillow. I am pregnant and needed the extra support for my back and I had to explain twice why I needed the extra pillow. I didn’t notice until the day of check out that there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. If I had realized this at check-in I would have immediately requested a new room. The whole floor of floor 2 smelled of water damage and mustiness. They definitely have water damage somewhere.

Property was very clean. Staff was very nice. Check in was easy.

We came to Galveston for a weekend family getaway and the prices on the Island were a bit too high for us. We decided to drive to Texas City and let me tell you that it is so worth the drive back and forth! Breakfast was awesome and room were clean and all the staff was awesome!

Great welcome from the people at the check in counter. Their equipment went down, but they handled it so well with a smile on their faces! They even brought me a rollaway bed for my son since hotels.com has the room incorrectly advertised for 3 sleepers.

I will return to this location. No complaints, very nice and convenient for anyone cruising out of Galveston, TX

There was spilled food or vomit on the floor in our room. The pool was green, not cleaned, and unusable in the middle of the summer, in Texas, when guests want to swim. The lobby restroom was filthy and never cleaned our entire stay. It wasn't entirely bad but management needs to do a better job in maintenance and making sure the hotel is presentable at all times and in all areas.

The staff was amazing, professional and helpful. The pool was disgusting, would not enter, and was what we looked forward to the most. The grounds immediately surrounding were very much in need of attention. Ice machine and One elevator not working

Very clean and comfortable. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is my room was on the first floor at the end of the hall by the side door….unfortunately that is where people would go outside to smoke and I could smell it in the room not to mention they were out there both nights of my stay laughing and cutting up like they were at a bar.

Front desk staff was amazing! Rooms were clean and well maintained. Overall stay was one of the best!
