2 night stay was horrible. We get to our room and it sounds like a heard of elephant's above us. I understand some noise but this was out of control. I call front desk and their response was “wait a couple hours.” That is completely unprofessional. Im in management in the hospitality industry and do security at a hotel on weekends and this is just NOT how you treat a guest. So that started the whole trip in negativity for me. We go to the water park and just rust everywhere. No basketball hoops in the water, which is honestly one of the main reasons we actually came here. As we get back to our room after “waiting a couple of hours” there was no change. Not even after the resorts “quiet time.” My son woke up several times throughout the night due to noise. Again I do understand there will be noise but it was just out of control and for nothing to be done rubbed me the wrong way. I am in search of full refund.

Just a little reset from the daily norms!! Kids needed a little break!! Up to date and very spacious!! Enjoyed our stay!!

Large rooms with plenty of room for our family of five! The pool is fun, despite the big slide being closed. Games to check out, trails for walking, paddle boats. Bummed there is no coffee in the lobby, but otherwise a great stay!

Great room and the wildlife kept me on my toes. Beautiful property, I did not get to use the amenities but they look great.

We took a spur of the minute weekend trip. We had never heard of beachwood resorts before. Every part of pur trip was excellent from arrival to departure and was well beyond our expectations for our weekend getaway!

The resort is very nice. Good space, has nice amenities for kids, and is pretty. I ignored reviews that said the walls were paper thin. Big mistake. You can hear everything from the adjoining room. My neighbors and I were laughing about it but were quite annoyed. Fortunately, we were pleasant and we kept our TVs down to nothing and did the best we could to be quiet. Even so, it was a constant annoyance. Also, I got my reservations on Expedia. Checkout time was listed as 3 pm in and 11 AM out. I reserved solely on that info. I can't stand these places that want you out by 10. I'm on vacation, I don't want to wake up early and rush out. Nevertheless, I got an email two days before getting there saying checkout was 10 AM. I ignored it but brought a paper copy of my Expedia reservations. The evening before morning checkout I got an email telling me checkout was 10 AM. I corrected her and told her my reservations said 11. She thought she was doing me a favor by saying I could check out at 10:30. In the morning I went to the front desk and checked out at 10:20. I showed the lady at the front desk my reservations showed check out at 11:00 AM and the Resort should get this cleared up with Expedia. She replied, "Expedia is a third party and we have no control over what they do"..... Very disappointing. At first glance this place was beautiful. Should have gone elsewhere.

I have stayed at Beachwoods many times and it is a perfect place for me and my family. This past stay I had my 1 yr old grandson and I picked this place because it has a wonderful inside pool and play area that I was so excited to have him play in. However on the Friday that I arrived, I received a text about 4pm that said the pool would be closing at 6pm and probably be closed Saturday, which it was closed all day. So no pool for my baby. I vented a little and was told that the YMCA has an indoor water park and they do day passes. I understand that they were trying to help, but if you are going to close the pool for maintenance (which isn't the first time this has happened) during a weekend and not a week day- shouldn't you have offered the day passes at the YMCA at your cost? I paid a resort fee not to be able to use the only resort thing that I could. I couldn't use the paddle boats with a 1 year old or the arcade. I am not trying to bash this resort because honestly the people there are amazing. The rooms are amazing. I just think that they should think outside of the box a little when it comes to inconveniencing the guests.

Easy check in and out process. Clean facilities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient location.
