Staff was helpful and pleasant.

Went to Nutter center for phish. Was a 30 minute walk on a bike path that is across the street from the hotel. Hotel is on leased property from the United States Govt. Hippies and military persons lived in harmony. Really chill scene.

The good was they let us check in early. The bad is the TV did not work, the bath tub did not hold water.

Hotel was very nice except that the bathroom faucet was filthy with soap and toothpaste stains and beard/shaving trimmings.

Room telephone didn't work and was removed without replacement. All television channels were not accessable.

Comfortable room and friendly staff

The hotel is older and could use some updating. The A/C was very loud. We had to change rooms because the A/C and tv were not working and the beds looked like they had not been changed. Staff was kind and helpful. The restaurant was a surprise because the food was really good and the waitstaff excellent. Overall I would give a 6 rating and won’t stay here again.

I've stayed at the Hope Hotel twice now. The price was one of the hotel's attributes. Accommodations here aren't expensive compared to other hotels, and you're getting a bit more than you pay for here. First of all, despite the Regan-era furnishings and overall dated appearance, this is a very clean hotel. The staff were very friendly. One of the maintenance staff rode the elevator with me and wanted to make certain everything worked in my room as it should. Everything was just fine. That isn't to say the rooms, bathrooms, and hallways aren't a bit old-looking. A new coat of paint, NEW BEDS (!), and new chairs would work wonders. It's a very, very quiet place. This is no party hotel, and it's off the beaten track, so I felt that my car would be safer than at a hotel located on Col. Glenn or near the plaza in Beavercreek. However, being off the beaten track is also a downside because you'll be driving a few minutes to find a nicer gas station, restaurant, or grocery store.They have a restaurant. It's called "Packy's." It's okay. Staff are friendly and helpful. This time I ordered their pizza, which was surprisingly bland. Like, out of a Chef Boyardee box-bland. Not bad, mind you. Just... bland. Their burgers are generally better. Recommended if you're tired and don't want to venture out. Overall, this was the second of two good stays at the Hope.

What I didn’t like about the property is that it didn’t have a pool but over all it was nice place and restaurant could offer more items, but staff in restaurant went out her way to accommodate me.

Our room was in need of repair. The desk assigned our room to someone else and they came in while we were there. Then they deactivated all the keys to the room including ours.

All good. Clean. Reasonably priced.

The hotel is mostly military and their families. The room was clean and comfortable. The attached restaurant was out of both dessert options and their breakfast buffet was OK.

The desk staff was friendly. It’s definitely an older hotel with very outdated decor, however, with that being said, it was clean, quiet and not crowded. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. No continental breakfast or even a cup of coffee available. They do have a restaurant attached to the hotel. I elected to hit the McDonald’s drive thru down the street for a coffee.

The Hotel stay was fine. The problem was that it took an hour to get checked in at the hotel. The front desk ladies at the hotel could not find our Itinerary number. They told us that this had happened 3 times in the last week. We ended up contacting Hotels. Com to get the correct #. It was a complete cluster! Because of this taking so long we missed a third of the concert that we were going to. We will not be using Hotels.com to book our stays anymore.

Quiet place

Lovely but a bit akward to get to with all the gates

Room was nice and served the purpose, however the bathroom had it's issues as the toilet was not flush to the floor resulting in the seat unable to stay open and the counter above it was not attached to the wall.

This hotel is completely outdated. The rooms are rundown and dirty. I was part of a larger group that stayed here and they hosted a dinner for us. Approximately 400 people. They run out of food half way through the serving. I'll never stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was clean. Staff seemed a bit stressed but still courteous. Restaurant was too understaffed to remain open for breakfast. It wasn’t busy but we observed one group get up and leave just before their meal came out—saying we don’t have all day to wait on eggs. We asked and were honestly told that it would take at least 20 mins to get an order. There was a buffet but everything had run out when we got there. So we decided to find somewhere else.

Rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated. Otherwise very clean and friendly atmosphere. Nice stay and would visit again. Nice restaurant located in the hotel.

Staff was super friendly. But, the room could have been cleaner. During our two night stay housekeeping did NOT come in at all. There were some cobwebs on one of the bedside lamps. The lid of the ice bucket was dirty. A little bit of mold/discoloration around the outside of the tub, and a broken/missing handle on the dresser. Overall furnishings were worn and dated. It did the job of giving us a decent nights sleep and was close to our attractions.

This hotel is very run down and does not reflect the rate per night. Bathroom appeared dirty but it could be because the shower, floor and counter were so old! Carpet needs to be replaced along with the bedding. Even the door to the room is pathetic… had to give a good push to close it.

Room was clean, but AC unit was extremely loud, even on the low setting. I wore ear plugs. Breakfast was okay the first day, but the second day the plates in the buffet stack were all dirty with food still stuck on them. It was disgusting. So, the room was okay for the price, but I'll never eat there again.
