The room was very spacious and clean. The two bedroom rooms have two bathrooms, which worked great for my group. The only downside, the rooms were not made up everyday. I don’t mind that, but the trash was not removed for the duration of our stay. The location had easy access to nearby freeways. Overall, I’d recommend.

The location was perfect for our destination...Mountain America Exposition Center. The rooms were very clean...the bed was comfortable...the kitchen fully supplied...the sofa bed was not comfortable at all. The pool and spa were outside and heated to a very comfortable temperature. We used the bbque area but could not get the fireplace to work and no employee seemed to want to assist us. The breakfast had many good choices...my favorite was the made to order omelets...if we need to come back next year this would be where we stay...my only complaint was the noise from the freeway...

I felt safe and the hotel was easy access off of the freeway.
What I didn’t like was we were tired the first night due to traveling and we ordered salads at the restaurant in the hotel, there was a hair in one of the salads. The next night we had a glass of wine and the red wine was old and tasted more like vinegar, I poured it out! Other than those two things it was great!

My husband and I enjoyed our ski trip during we stayed here. The room is very clean and comfortable. The house keeper did the awesome job tidying up. The location is great, we took the shuttle called Cottonwood Connect head to resorts. It was right in front of the front door of the hotel.
Not to mentioned the best part of the hotel was it's un-beatable breakfasts. I would recommend 100% Hyatt House Sandy if you plan a ski trip in SLC.

This is a very nice hotel, the rooms looks like a mini apartment, close to shopping areas and restaurants.

Staff were wonderful. Great location for the tournament. Rooms were big with full kitchens. Had a small bar and food can be ordered. We had sandwiches and a big salad and it was good. The breakfast is very good. We will stay again when in the Sandy area

Nice hotel for family getaway at mouth of Little Cottonwood. The hot tub and warmed pool a bonus after a day of skiing. Good breakfast, love the omelets, to start the day.

We always stay at this hotel (unless the prices are way up or there is no occupancy) on our way down and back from WA to AZ. We jave done this for about the last 6 years. We've always come back because of great service, room accomodations and cleanliness. This last visit, the room wasn't as clean. The floor in the kitchen wasn't clean, the bathrooms weren't as "sanitized" feeling. The room thenselves are starting to show wear. I may be time for s deep clean and touch up to bring it back to feeling fresh, not worn.

Hotel was nice and clean. The room was much bigger than I thought which was great since my daughter brought 2 friends! Breakfast was great but most of all COFFEE was ready by 6am in the LOBBY!! Staff was great as well.

I had a short business trip & invited my spouse. We had a king suite which was great to allow us to attend to our own dietary preferences & timing without fighting other restaurant schedules. The property presented clean & orderly (although it wasn't heavily occupied & clearly not hosting a conference or other significant business events). We had asked for a quiet room away from the elevator, cleaning closet & common facilities & were assigned the 4th floor nearly across from the cleaning closet. The room was located with the view to the north which was beautiful but also LOUD with the traffic of the interstate. The selection of outdoor plantings were still unseasonably beautiful. Gym was never occupied & while small was a good selection. Heat & AC system were both working great as well as the bathroom venting system which was amazing. Garbage is a problem with kitchen suites & an in room safe is essential these days. All around GREAT value which we would choose again.

This hotel is in good shape-better than some we’ve stayed at. However the 3 stars is because the bed and bedsheets smelled stale and old. Wondering about the quality of the laundry facilities or age of the mattress and sheets and blankets.

The 2 bedroom unit is perfect for my family. It's so convenient to have separate living/dining to the bedrooms and the second bedroom has a separate sink to the toilet & shower so very convenient. I also like to convenience of Sandy... very central and easy to jump on the highways to get to the airport, the city, the mountains like Park City, Provo and beyond. I also like the egg station, just wish there were other options like fried eggs and not just scrambled or omelette.... Hyatt House is definitely my preference when in Salt Lake.

Internet was really slow. There were no usb plugs in the room(make sure to bring wall plugs)The breakfast however was definitely above average. The staff were friendly, except for the older lady in the morning that gave us a crusty look. Thankfully she wasn't at the desk when we checked out.

These folks evidently have a policy of overbooking the hotel and then bumping some guests when they arrive. I went to the hotel at 1 p.m. on the day of our arrival to pay for two rooms and verify details. They took the money, told me to come back and get the keys later in the day. I arrived at 6 p.m. and was told they were sold out and no room was available. The event I am in charge of is across the street from the original hotel - the room they offered is 20 minutes away. My reservation was made 35 days before the stay. The excuses made and the form letter they provided indicated this is standard operating procedure for Hyatt House Sandy. Very disappointed

Staff does an admirable job trying to keep this aging hotel going. It has seen better days and needs a lot of work. One of two elevators was out for the duration of our stay and apparently longer. Breakfasts are marginal and need someone who can cook, though the omelets were good. It was safe, quiet, and clean. The staff were friendly and hardworking. I would pick another place to stay next time.

Hotel was beautiful, check in was easy. Our room was large and comfortable with a view of the pool.
Heated outdoor pool was a blessing after being on the road for 10 days. Breakfast was wonderful with a large selection of items.

Wonderful hotel with a friendly staff. The staff gave great recommendations for food and things to see, as well as transportation to those places. The breakfast provided many choices. The rooms were very clean! Highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.

Loved the suite style of the room which provided: a full-size refrigerator with an ice maker; microwave; dishwasher; and tableware. The seating area by the TV was comfortable and the TV stand provided separation from the bed area. Maintenance and housekeeping staff were courteous and helpful in making the room pleasant.

This property is right next to the highway and is extremely noisy. Also, the complimentary breakfast is terrible.

The Hyatt House met all of our needs during our stay. Would definitely recommend for those staying in the Sandy area. Quick access to I-15. Only downfall is they have one elevator for all their guests.

Always a great location to use as a home base when we come to visit and watch a RSL game. Shuttle ride to the stadium and walk back after the game.

One of the showers didn’t get hot. Beds had dirty sheets. Smelled musty. Overall, have stayed in the past multiple times…..will not stay again. It has really went downhill.
