Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, close to some amazing attractions. Would stay here again!

My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant experience during our stay in the hotel and our visit to New York. The location was excellent and made it very convenient to reach all the places he wanted to see. The room was very comfortable. It was not extremely large, but it had enough space for both of us to feel comfortable throughout our stay, and my boyfriend especially loved it. We also appreciated how peaceful it was at night, since there was no loud noise, which made it easy to rest and sleep well. Another thing we noticed was that the guests were respectful of the building rules, especially the “No Smoking” policy inside the property. People who smoked did so outside on the street, which helped keep the environment clean and pleasant. The hotel staff was also very welcoming, helpful, and professional. Even though we saw different employees at the front desk throughout our stay, every person we interacted with was kind and provided excellent customer service.

I’ll be honest, the reviews for this hotel are very harsh. The hotel is actually very nice. There was no unpleasant smell like I read in some of the reviews here. The bathroom had been renovated. Yes, the room is small, but it’s NYC after all… The location is very, very good, and the price is one of the cheapest in Manhattan ($700 CAD for 3 nights right in the middle of August). Of course, there are city taxes to pay upon arrival, but that’s normal too. The only downside is that the air conditioning is a little noisy in the room. Overall, at this price, it’s perfect. I would definitely stay here again.
