Excellent boutique hotel

We stayed 8 days at BYD and really enjoyed ourselves. When you go during monsoon season, the weather is hit or miss, but we made the most of it. The location is great, close to the beach and right off one of the main drags with so many food/bar options. The in hotel breakfast was also fantastic, and a great way to start each day -- whether having delicious stir fry or traditional eggs/omletts and bacon and beans. Room (we had a suite) was spacious, clean, and well cared for by the staff. While the rooftop pool is a little small, it's still a great spot to enjoy an afternoon, read a book and then have pizza and beer delivered poolside for the outrageous price of $15 (I was being sarcastic there). Phuket was great and it all started with BYD. Thank you.

I’ve been staying here twice and I loved it. Nice staff and place is well kept.

We received an upgrade on our arrival to a one bedroom suite and it was fantastic. Everything about this hotel is first class. It’s a lovely quiet area but very close to everything including the beach and shopping. There’s a lovely bar across the road and a laundry so I could do my washing. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices. Will be staying here again when we visit Patong next time.

I’m almost reluctant to give this review in the fear that too many people stay at BYD. It’s perfection from start to finish. Staff, rooms, breakfast, meals, accommodation and everything else is amazing.

Service was excellent especially from front desk Katie. Breakfast was decent but repetitious. Rooms are very quiet. pool was a little cool for me but OK.

I moved into BYD at the last minute after a previous reservation had not planned out and I have to say BYD was just the place I was looking for! Very civilized, very welcoming, high quality in everything about the place like the physical infrastructure, the interactions with the staff and the food and beverage options. The hotel owner and manager are also on site quite a bit and I had some great interactions with them, which makes me much more inclined.to come back. There are a lot of hotels in Patong and on Phuket and BYD has figured out that it can distinguish itself through the highest quality of even the finest details! I will definitely come again!

Liked everything about the property with one exception. I think its a little pricey for not being on the water.

The staff were so friendly. The housekeeping was perfect. And the location was great. I will be back!

Very modern nice rooms. Close to everything in Patong but still quiet.

The loft was perfect! Clean, spacious, and well stocked. The staff were amazing and took care of my every need including setting up several in-room massage services. I stayed for nearly 3 weeks and I highly recommend!

Amazing!!!!! Can’t get over how amazing the staff are and how welcome we felt! They would bend over backwards to ensure you had an amazing time! So professional and the room was so lovely and clean and modern and comfortable! The pool Is clean and the food is delicious! 12/10!

Great property...well managed...great restaurant

I asked to cancel the trip due to the epidemic of the corona virus or postpon it for a year time and it was refused. It is a very bad public relation to endanger the guest life due to the epidemy of the virus

Bedroom smells like mildew and bedroom AC doesn't get cold. You can especially tell the difference (smell and temp) when you walk from living room (with working AC) to bedroom. Mold in bathroom (which also explains the mildew smell). Staff was very friendly though!

I liked the amenities and the room service. Apart from the drain problem in the bathroom sink, I had an excellent time staying at BYD Loft.

We enjoyed the location, the staff are very kind and the restaurant at the hotel is great. Highly recommended

Superb, stylish boutique hotel in Patong. Excellent apartments, tastefully furnished with every detail catered for.

Nestled on a quiet side street this is a gem of a hotel. A boutique hotel and serviced apartments with spacious rooms ranging from 40 sqm to 100 sqm & also a two bedroom suite. Very friendly and attentive staff, decent breakfast spread & two pools. Restaurant offers decent variety of food although a bit expensive. The centre of Patong (Jungceylon shoppung mall and Bangla Road) is about a 10-15 min walk or 5 min by Tuk Tuk costing 200 Baht one way.

The contemporary look and cleanliness is outstanding and worth recommending to anyone. Excellent hotel.

A well deserved Ten out of Ten experience. The entire end to end hotel experience was awesome. The BYD Management & Team visible at all times & operates as one complete team; the service is impeccable; the check in and welcome was seamless, the room (layout & offering) pristine; conveniently located to explore Patong on foot - be it Beach; shopping; exploring; Masjid; ... and I can go on. Oh yes, BYD has a smart APP to assist you with your stay - very convenient. When requesting assistance it was always executed well within time & professionalism. Great location and value for money. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Accomodation was clean and very stylish.

I liked the exclusive access to the pool. The room was well appointed and ok. I loved that a full set of kitchen utensils, crockery, cooking pots, toaster, and electric jug were provided. The Samsung smart tvs were also very much appreciated as well!

リノベーションしたばかりのお部屋に案内して頂きました。広さも十分でリビングとベッドルームは仕切られていました。新しいだけではなくキッチンやバスルームの清掃も行き届いていてとても快適！パトンビーチの繁華街は徒歩圏内で周りにはたくさんのマッサージやさんがあります。表通りのマッサージ屋さんよりも安くて上手でしたのでおすすめです。朝食も十分楽しめると思います。

Absolutely the best! Not only the property but the staff were incredible! From the time you step out of your transportation to the time you drive away! Totally 5 star. I wish I could thank everyone by name but do want to mention a couple people that went above and beyond to make this the not only the best vacation but the best stay ever! Nat Orn at the front desk. Kek which I believe does tours but was incredible in helping when I wanted to stay longer. The morning breakfast and dinner was great and even better with Sonia and Jessica. Having night meals and drinks at the Restaurant/Bar with Toon and Rum were the best. Last but not least, Han, the property owner is always onsite from the crack of dawn into the late night hours everyday and always working to make your stay the best. I even seen the guy cutting shrubs etc. I was and very impressed with everything from A to Z and BYD Lofts WILL BE the only place I will ever book in Phuket. Can't wait to come back next year!

loved the whole property close to the beach, shops, the fact that we had a kitchen.

Their reception staff opened the door and let a taxi driver / theft into my room to stole 6000 Thai Baht when I was in the shower. I was so shocked when I saw what happened from the CCTV and they decided to take no responsibility and just balmed the victim. I didnt feel safe in the place and I wonder if the staff was working with the theft.
