We loved everything about Rawnsley Park Station. Fab location and views, friendly staff, lots of walking tracks on the property and a short drive to Wilpena Pound. We stayed in a superior 2 bedroom apartment, and we were really impressed with the accommodation. The cabin was very modern, spacious, clean and comfy, a good shower with plenty of hot water and a seprate toilet, 2 bedroom, with fresh linen and a very comfy bed, a fully equipped kitchen, the lounge had 2 large sofas a dining table and a large TV, outside was a comfy deck with table and chairs with a stunning view of Rawnsley Bluff. With a BBQ opposite and a fire pit for cold nights, it was the ideal place to base yourself for a few days. The only negatives were the lounge suite needed a clean and the internet was very patchy meaning you couldnt stream to the TV, but considering the remote location that wasn't surprising. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay including one night dinner at the Woolshed
1/2 day 4WD tour was also worthwhile

Rawnsley Park station superior cabins were excellent; clean; well equipped and thought out. The views were stunning and the overall facilities on the station were great. Clean communal
Barbecues; fire pits with wood to purchase for use and a restaurant that also offered a takeaway menu on the nights you don’t want to cook. The location is magical and staff very friendly. The swimming pool was a hit with the children and verandahs with a view the perfect spot to watch the world go by. Don’t miss out on a Flinders Ranges Sunrise! You will love

I hadnt realized it was a bit of a drive in on a dirt road that had some rougher patches but we made it in a rental car. There was a mix up either on the Rawnsley end or hotel .com end whereby we could not get a refund for one of our nights when we had to change dates and though two nights were booked as fully refundable we only got refund for one of those nights. However , the staff were super friendly, the room was clean and had everything you needed totally self contained and drinkable water . We did a 4x4 tour half day tour with one of their guides and it was amazing. We learned so much and saw so much more than we possibly could have as most roads in that area are not sealed. So you really see the park. He was so friendly and informative and honestly it was one of our favourite tours.
