Location and atmosphere

Roland, our host, was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. The house was well kept; the breakfasts were fresh, lovely, and filling; and the staff were friendly. Really comfortable beds. Excellent restaurants within walking distance, especially Blacksheep (farm to fork, extraordinaire) and Toni’s (excellent traditional Mozambique food, especially peri peri chicken and seafood dishes).

Wow! This was a perfectly lovely place to stay for a week in Cape Town. We loved the location and its proximity to a great area for restaurants. The neighborhood felt very safe for walking and there was no problem having street parking each night for our rental car. There is a security man overnight too. The breakfast was done to order and really delicious. Lucky weather meant we could have it served in the terrace! The house itself is beautiful and really nice to come home to at the end of the day. The proprietor Roland is so well-suited to his role! He ensured all guests had all the advice they needed and checked in with us daily. Lovely conversations. We would definitely stay here again!!
