Very useful, spotlessly clean fridge and microwave in the room. The location is near to the major road network, making it an easy stopover hotel.
The car park is small.

The updated rooms are a big improvement, now with a microwave and fridge and new beds and decor. Restaurants nearby.
Work ongoing to update the hotel.

It was cheap
We were given two different room keys but it turned out we only had one room. My friend dropped his bags in “his” room then we came back an hour or so later and the key didn’t work. Turned out there was another couple staying in that room and we needed to ask them nicely to get access for the bag and passport that had been stashed under the bed. A fun time had by all but if we’d found viable pints nearby it could have been a total shitshow.

The location is really convenient, very close to the A16, with easy access by foot to several eateries.
The bedroom was clean and functional with its own toilet and shower.
The staff were friendly and courteous
The bedroom is really small and the toilet/ shower pod even more so. The room has a microwave but no crockery/ cutlery or kettle.
Breakfast was disappointing and really minimalist, consisting of bread, butter and jam, yoghurt, apple juice and hot drink. A napkin serves as a plate. Cereals would have been appreciated.
