The check in process is extremely slow. This one office checks in several different hotels. So plan on waiting outside in the heat for an hour if you have 4 or more people in front of you. It;s not horrible, it just grinds on the nerves when you don't expect that kind of wait.
The room was clean and modern, the bed very comfortable. The location is great. As it is older, the windows are thin and the door doesn't seal, so the outside noise isn't kept out. Most places down here are this way.
I would stay there again though. As long as you expect these things, you'll be ok.

Great stay at the hotel , it’s our 3rd visit. We like to have our room in building 9 with the interior patio .
The staff is great and friendly, the pool is nice and the fact that you can borrow beach chairs and towels is awesome.

Very convenient location super close to beach and restaurants. Clean and quite. Furnitures could be upgraded but it was fine with Is. Kitchen had everything needed to fix breakfast and warm up food. Overall, very happy with our stay!

Location location location!! For the price point this was a great spot, super convenient to some great restaurants and the boardwalk (try Why Not on the beach for awesome Italian!). 3 day stay so didn’t get housekeeping in but a small broom for sand would have been awesome to have in the room. But everything you need, great water pressure, full kitchen etc.

The property is really cute and located just feet away from the beach. The suite is cute and roomy! Nice, large bathroom. This room has all the amenities needed for an extended stay— full fridge, stove top, microwave, dishes, iron/board. The room was very clean, however the cleaning products used were VERY strong—I had trouble sleeping. The ceiling fan rattled and the tv had no sound. We haven’t checked out much of the area yet, but this location seems like we can walk to some restaurants and like I said, the beach is just a block (or less) away.

Pros: Very friendly front desk, room was clean, no bugs and parking available for only $12 a day, close to beach
Cons: Really old, not easy to get comfortable with no place to sit in the living area except for a day bed and the blinds don't really keep it dark if you're a late sleeper.
I know it's the location but hard to believe what we paid for such an old tired room.

We arrived a few hours before check in Ann were allowed to check in early even given an upgraded room. Place was in a perfect location steps from the beach. Would highly recommend and stay there again

The location to the beach was great! The room itself was very run down, but was fine for a couple nights. I would not feel comfortable staying here if I was single. The doors were not sturdy. Hollywood Beach was nice.

This was our second trip here. We fly in a day early for cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale. Sonia and Ygli at the front desk are the nicest ladies. We drop our luggage and go for a bite to eat on the boardwalk. You may leave your luggage if rooms are not ready. Our rooms (traveling with friends) were in close proximity. I absolutely love that each room is a little different. They were clean, beds were comfortable, and shower had great water pressure. Yes, the AC unit was a little loud, but it will not prevent us from returning. There was a little sitting area outside our block of rooms, and there is a covered area with tables and chairs near the office. As we were there in January, we did not use the pool. We love the location, as once you are there, you can walk along the boardwalk or down the street to restaurants, shops, etc. We will definitely return.

Second time staying at hollywood beachside boutique and wood come back again. Bed is comfy, rooms are perfect size. Hotel provides beach chairs and towels. I found the ladies at reception very friendly. See you next time !! Location is perfect!

Excellent stay as usual. I have stayed here many times over the past 15 years. Can't beat the location and they really do a good job at keeping the units clean which is very important to me. No frills like the big chains but the place is a two minute walk to the beach and has beach towels and chairs which is a huge plus. Thanks again!

It was very convenient to walk to things. Loved the mini kitchen to cook food. But…..It was on a very busy road, constant traffic and horns throughout the day and night. Neighbors were loud. Pool had beer cans floating in it. Sheets had a blood stain.

Hotel is old and not renovated. Tiny, motel like front desk area, no chairs. Booked a standard room; it had a bed, 2 nightstands, a chair, a chair, tv, fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board; no coffee machine; small old bathroom with tub/shower, sink and a barely flushing toilet.
Staff was friendly, helpful; asked if early check in was possible; they called as soon as our room was ready - approx 3 hrs before regular check-in time. They also advised on best dining and drinking places close by.

Cockroaches, bed bugs, wifi didn’t work, loud outdated appliances, spotty air conditioning and rundown building. No phones in room, or usb chargers. Very let down, a lot nicer properties in this area I could have stayed at for similar price. Nice area though, the boardwalk is a blast. My kids call this the bug hotel.

Good location. Pool is too close to the busy road we didn’t use it. Room is ok and kitchenette good to have.

The check in was super easy and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and it was so quiet during the night. For someone who has trouble sleeping sometimes, quiet is so important. The bed was so comfy which it was hard to leave the room every time we went back to change and in the morning to get ready for breakfast. Hubby and I will definitely stay there again.

I've stayed at this place multiple times, it's my favorite place to stay in Hollywood. I will always come back!! They are friendly, the place is always clean & the Taco Bar within walking distance has amazingly good food!!
