Asa Herrgard is located just by a lake and it is just so beautiful...
The room was clean. I am an experienced traveler and have seen such white towels and sheets in very few hotels. Our room had a jacuzzi which was an unexpected great suprise! :)
Although we visited the hotel in off-season and arrived quite late, and there were no staff to welcome us, the check-in instructions were so clear and simple enabling a smooth access to our room.
The breakfast had been prepared with great care and was delicious.
Honestly, our one night stay at Asa Herrgard felt not enough but we had to leave because we were on a roadtrip with many things planned. I hope to come back and stay longer to enjoy it fully!

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the old manor. Wife and I enjoyed walking the grounds, eating great food for dinner and breakfast and not having any electronic distractions in the room (they have hi-speed wifi if you just need to get online).
Staff and service was fantastic as were the views.
The dinner was prepared with many ingredients grown right on the property.
