This was a beautiful little hotel with charming staff. While it is just a stones throw away from the beach it's far enough down Plaka beach that it's not as crowded as the other parts. There are two lovely beach bars right where you reach the beach. The hotel itself has a lovely pool area which is well maintained and is surrounded by trees and bushes unlike a lot of other accommodation in the area. The room air condintiong was wonderful and really needed.
Things to be aware of: as with most of the island wasps (bees?) are a problem at meal times. The hotel does try and lure them away with an orange juice trap; no one in my group was stung. Google maps isn't completely accurate for this area so look for signs.
