We stayed at Bürglstein for eight nights, and it was the perfect base for exploring Wolfgangsee and the surrounding area, as well as taking day trips to Hallstatt, Gosau and Salzburg. We loved having one beautiful, spacious apartment as our base instead of changing hotels every day. The breakfast was delicious, and Caroline and Wolfgang were wonderful hosts, always happy to help with advice and anything we needed. We truly had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.

Modern und gemütlich ausgestattete Zimmer, die man mittels Lift auch schnell erreicht. Ein Frühstücksbuffet das in Auswahl , Reichhaltigkeit und Güte keine Wünsche offen lässt. Im geräumigen Gastraum mit Kamin finden Paare oder Gruppen ihren gewünschten Platz. Der thailändische Koch verwöhnt die Gäste mit wirklich schmackhaften asiatischen oder österreichischen Gerichten. Die Gastgeber , ein junges Ehepaar, sind ein modernes Vorbild für das Hotelgewerbe und zeichnen sich durch einen ganzheitlichen Ansatz aus, der Nachhaltigkeit, menschliche Verantwortung , Humor und echte Herzlichkeit verbindet. Das aufmerksame und freundliche Personal trägt ebenso zum Wohlgefühl der Gäste bei.

I like the calmness of the place and the staff were nice. I found the location acceptable, and the layout of the room was nice. It was big enough and had a sink and a good spaced bathroom. The food was awesome, and I would definitely recommend trying it.

The receptionist is not always present at the front of the hotel. I was worried about our data and our privacy as our data was open, and the screen was facing everyone who was coming in and out of the hotel. Not only our data but the person who paid before us after they were finished, the receptionist left the screen open with all their information and the amount they paid open, where everyone can see it. I did not like that at all. We booked a room that says it has a lake view, but when we arrived, we could see a glimpse of the lake from the right side of the balcony only. The curtains in the bathroom were not clean. A big stain was present at the chair in the room.
