Hotel is fine, breakfast is fine, service was fine. One comment: the hotel needs to buy mattress covers rather than having a sheet that slides off when you’re sleeping. Mattress covers also help protect against bed bugs (I did not find any).

Not quite worth the price to stay in a just okay hotel. The room is clean but kind of dated. Washroom was disappointing, small bathroom sink, no countertops, and no tube. Breakfast was nice and all employees are friendly.

This is our second stay at the Hilltop. Very happy we returned. The room was very comfortable. Enjoyed the mountain views. Had worried the highway noise would be an issue overnight but it was not. The breakfast is amazing! Full breakfast with lots of options. Friendly staff. We also enjoy the location. Looks far from town but is actually very walkable. The pedestrian tunnel makes it very easy to get downtown in about 20 minutes on foot.

Was there for 5 days when I booked a pet friendly room specifically and then get hit with a extra 84.75 in pet fee for my service dog when checking out and the rudest lady at front desk that wouldn't let a sentence come out of my mouth without cutting me off then ended up emailing the general manager and they were just as rude and tried accusing us of smoking in the room when neither of us smoke was quite funny and refused to refund the extra charges will never return after this

Everything is great at the property, the breakfast was amazing, everything is very clean. The coke machine at the lobby doesn't give change for toonies coins.

I have stayed at this hotel several times never had an issue in fact it was great. BUT this time.no so much. Purchased king with kitchenette and view of pool- what i got was a king bed, no kitchenette and a view of the parking lot. We did get moved but why did i not get the room.i paid for right off the hop?
Toilet.backed up next.morning that sucked as had to go get plunger to fix. Found out hottub was not working this is the MAIN reason i booked this property. So not.at all happy this time.staying.

We booked a room here with a lake view and a couch and ended up with neither. They gave us a room that had not been cleaned after the previous guests. I went to the front desk and they said all they could offer was a downgraded room. Same price. Smaller room. No couch. A view into the windows of other rooms. We had to repair the blinds to deal with that. There was no hot water that night. Woke up early aching from the bed, but at least there was hot water for the time being. Showered and went to check out. Told them about not having hot water the night before and she said she could see it happening in the other building but not the one we were in. Guess that’s an ok standard for this hotel. They assumed no responsibility for anything and said I’d have to take it up with Expedia.

Could definitely hear the traffic as you would expect being right off of the major hwy... but we still slept great. Staff were all excellent, as was the included breakfast.

Tesla owners look no further! Even though Super charging was close by but nothing beats Tesla Level 2 Charger like home available with no cost added while staying here!

I wasn't impressed with the mattresses. They seemed saggy and worn. Not firm. One of the slats missing in the vertical blinds Big crack in the drywall in the bathroom full length. Lot of noise from the highway.

Check in was smooth and clerk was very attentive. Lots of perks with this property and stay. Stayed at the end of Sept. so the pool was out, but looked wonderful. Small kitchenette was convenient and mattress comfy.

Great hotel for the price! Had to drive to dinner but otherwise stayed on site. The pool would be great in the warmer months but the hot tub was fantastic. Loved the little patio overlooking the gardens and pool. One of the best breakfasts of the whole trip.
