Beautiful property, excellent location. Have stayed here before. However this time got a room with some issues. Only there one night so no time really for staff to address issues while we were there. The bed was old, creaky, and very very uncomfortable. It was sunken where bodies lie. The sofa was missing a cushion. The toilet seat was a surfboard, loose and dangerous. The smoke detector was still covered up with plastic from other maintenance they had done.
I want to believe this was a one off for them.

Overall, the property was good and well-maintained, and we enjoyed many aspects of our stay. However, one major disappointment was that the indoor pool was under maintenance during our visit. The pool was a key reason we chose this property for our kids, and unfortunately, we were not notified about the closure before check-in.
To make matters worse, the weather during our stay was unusually cold and windy, so the kids were unable to enjoy the beach as an alternative. As a result, one of the main attractions that influenced our booking was unavailable.
While the property itself was comfortable and met expectations, better communication regarding amenities under maintenance would have helped us make a more informed decision. With proper notification and all amenities available, the experience would have been much better
