The Beachcomber was a well maintained property. The employees were hospitable and helpful. The rooms were charming and comfortable and the location was great - close to the beach - a block from the beautiful beach - and perfect for walking, biking and relaxing. Nice pool area and music in the early evening. I will definitely return.

Very clean and updated

NIce clean and quiet, parking is difficult at times

The property was lovely. Booked through Expedia. I had paid in full then was charged a resort fee upon arrival. Also tv volume button was broken. Unable to watch tv Saturday night. This was disappointing. The day I checked out check in area smelled like food.

Had a good stay. Property appeared well cared for. Pool was clean and nice. We stayed in Room 110, which is a studio. Was nicely decorated and clean. I would stay here again. Only recommendation is some sound proofing between the rooms could be better. I could hear a baby crying next door and people hanging out outside.

Kitchen minimally equipped, especially missing a toaster for breakfast. Otherwise, though the weather was uncooperative, the place was fine.

We were looking for somewhere to stay for a weekend getaway but It was soo cute. The staff was super friendly during checkin and check out! Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and nice. The room was so homey, clean, comfy and beautiful. I would definitely come again!

Was a cozy clean place

My husband and I stayed in a Studio and we were first time guests. The studio was absolutely beautiful and was furnished with everything that we needed. Extremely clean, comfortable bed, extra blanket. Convenient to shopping and a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Old but well maintained

This property was an the perfect location, for a fraction of the price of surrounding hotels. We were delighted with our one bedroom suite.

We were going to a wedding and this hotel was recommended by the venue The Reeds. Hotel exterior is nice and literally 1 block from beach, which is very nice for a sunset stroll. They have a heated pool and a large jacuzzi, neither if which we used as there was a private party happening. After waiting for about 15mins to check in we were given our key with directions to our 2nd floor room. Unfortunately when we arrived in our room we were very disappointed. Room was ok but tired looking. Kitchen and bathroom were nice. Upon further inspection the sectional sofasleeper had stains and was collapsed in and very hard and uncomfortable to sit on. The bed was so soft and uncomfortable you felt as if you were falling in. The dining chairs were dirty with several odd white stains on them. We had to put towels on both the sofa and chairs to sit. When I tried to change rooms I was informed that hotel was fully booked as there were several other weddings in the area. Since I had the wedding next day we had no other option but to stay. We had several family members staying at this hotel as well, some with updated rooms, others with a similar or worse experience than mine. This condo/hotel needs to Update/Renovate ALL their rooms.or at least the furniture. RENTER BEWARE, ask if your room has been updated before finalizing booking.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber. Our 3 bedroom unit was beautifully decorated and very clean. The tenants directly above us were very loud till the early morning hours which took a little away from our stay but overall I would recommend staying here. Be aware there is no elevator which was not an issue for us but an older friend traveling with us struggled with the stairs.

No safety bar in tub

Room, although small, was well appointed, quality linens, well equipped and extremely clean.

The pull out sofas need better mattresses

My daughter & I stayed here for a 3 day vacation. We rented the 2 bedroom unit & it was perfect for the 2 of us. Unit was clean, roomy, & close to the beach which we loved. Had a nice pool & hot tub area where you could just sit & relax. Also a balcony to sit on in the afternoon. Went in September & would definitely stay here again.

They cleaned up room each day.

The property is right on a boulevard with bike lanes, so you can easily bike anywhere on the island. It's also close to the beach, a fun brewery and beach bar. The units are clean and great for a weekend getaway.

Affordable quality place in a great location

Wish I could have stayed longer! Weather was perfect, beach was a block away and the hot tub in the pool area was great. Hotel is located about 15 blocks from central shopping/restaurant area in Stone Harbor - I walked it in 25 minutes.

Always enjoy my yearly trek here. Such a lovely stay and have been coming for so long that it feels like a family reunion with the staff. Great location and very walkable too! See you next Summer...had such a nice stay that I might book twice in 2022!

Could have stayed here the entire time, but we had a wedding to go to!

The place was clean, housekeeping did a great job making sure it stayed that way and everything was upkept daily. Close to the beach. Place had everything you’d need to cook and enjoy your stay.

Pool area was great, staff was really helpful and attentive. We had 6 units for a family reunion, and it was perfect!

Close to the beach. Clean and newly redone. Polite and helpful staff. There is very limited places to get coffee or eat within walking distance.

The unit was very clean and convenient for the wedding we were attending. The pool was refreshing and the parking was a great benefit since it was a busy weekend. Easy walk to the beach or the shops in Stone Harbor. Having a kitchen with refrigerator was also a bonus.
