We booked a one-night stay as a last-minute family night in January 2024. The kids were a little bummed that there was no TV in the room! However, we came ready with some board games, there are also board games available throughout the property (Buena vista room and Saloon). They loved playing Yahtzee by the wood burning fire in our spacious room, while drinking hot chocolate (complementary drinks and snacks provided in Buena Vista Room). We also used the indoor pool and hot tub!
The service in Dog House Saloon was great! The kids were welcomed with fresh popcorn, games and a pool table.
We did a few hikes, the property is breath taking! We spoke with staff in the Nature Center, they were so informative and kind. We also pet the horses....so many amazing horses. We didn't do much else, since it was only one night. There are so many activities to choose from.

The setting, the food, the facilities, and the activities made the stay well worthwhile. The staff was attentive and friendly. The ranch is spectacular. I highly recommend them.

The most beautiful scenery. Property is gorgeous and old Western cowboy style. Dinner was ok to sit outside. The live entertainment needs upgrade. Old old Western that you wouldn't dance to or might know. Breakfast ends way early so didn't eat. Buy what a beautiful place. Check out way yoo early at 10. No television in room which was weird. I will definitely recommend. Not sure the food is worth the hype or $$ but definitely an incredible view and sunset

Second time here and it won't be my last. Loved our room, the view, the pool, the service, the horses, the wranglers - everything was more than perfect. Except the heat - it was really HOT, but room was cool and pool helped. Can't wait to go back and take more people with :)

Beautiful property, great staff. Would like to see just another food option for when there's a Cowboy Cookout, even if it's just a few things available in the Dog House or something. Loved the whole experience though!

Very quiet and peaceful! I loved the breakfast buffet. Its located at the edge of the city. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere away from the city traffic, people, etc. this is the right place for you! They have different activities like horse riding, guided hiking, etc.

Historically interesting property, unique with lots of activities offered, plenty to walk around and look at including horses and desert landscape. Rooms are unusual but very clean with comfortable beds. No televisions. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the property. The included breakfast was also excellent.

A few recommendations for TVR, we would've liked to have a toaster or mini microwave in our room for the days that we just wanted to cave away in our room. We also think a towel rack or hook would be very convenient by the shower door. Lastly, the outdoor pool seemed a bit dark and dirty compared to what we expected. Overall this was a great staycation, and see why people enjoy coming out to TVR. Thank you to all the TVR staff, you all made our stay fantastic with your impeccable service!

What a lovely place to stay. We stayed in Kaseeta number 48 and would definitely go back again with family or friends. Too bad that it was July and the temperatures were around 115. Next time we’ll go when it’s cooler and we can ride the horses.

This property is quite the gem!! I loved being submersed in the Sonoran desert and old southwest. Room was super comfortable!! Pool was beautiful. Loved walking the grounds and exploring the native desert plants!!

We loved our one-night getaway to Tanque Verde Guest Ranch! The suite was huge and luxurious, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing and very big. The grounds are well-maintained, the pools were clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was top-notch.

The resort is beautiful! They accommodated our early check in ( 90 minutes) without hesitation. The staff was friendly & personable! I would definitely recommend staying here! We are a couple, no children, it was a lovely environment for us!

Beautiful ranch was above and beyond our expectations. Staff is great. Thank you to one of the best experiences mountain biking, hiking, swimming and relaxing. My athletic son made great use of exercise room, pool and basketball court!

It was well maintained and beautiful, from the casitas to the bar to the pool. Everything was wonderful and highly recommend to anyone. The horses were the icing on the cake.

The property was very relaxing and clean. The pool water was the only thing that I was disappointed about. There were alot of dead flies in it. Flies around other areas were not an issue. For a dude ranch they kept everything again neat and clean. The food... was outstanding!! I would totally stay there again!!
