Spectacular views, the perfect getaway amenities, and the thoughtfulness from the front lobby staff to the complimentary wine bottle to welcome us in. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning to stay here.

This was an amazing stay! We usually opt for something like a La Quinta or Marriot, but we decided to branch out and splurge for the weekend. It was worth every penny. It was spacious, comfortable and luxurious. Everyone was helpful and very kind. The hotel had everything we needed. From now on when we make the trip to Austin, this will be where we stay each time.

This is my second stay and both experiences were great. Staff is really good and friendly. Rooms are large and well appointed. The restaurant serves a good breakfast. The Mediterranean decor isn’t really my thing but they pull it off pretty well. Not close to anything other than office buildings but terrific if meetings are nearby.

Worst experience that I’ve had there. Entire 7th floor smelled like a skunk or marijuana. They tried to give me a room on the 7th floor. I had them change my room to the 4th floor, and they tried to put me in a room that had not been cleaned. There was an empty water bottle that someone had drank, dirty towels, and the bed sheets weren’t changed out. Then, they finally changed me into a different room that was actually clean. This took 30 minutes or so after I checked in. They told me that they would give me a $50 credit on my account towards my room, and I never received that. There were also too many teenagers and 20 year olds partying too loud, and yelling throughout the hallways. I have stayed at Hotel Viata around 20 times, and this hotel seems to be going downhill now. I am very disappointed in the service, and atmosphere.

To begin with, the customer service was so helpful. Check in was smooth, our room was amazing, we had a nice cocktail before heading out for the day, and the transportation to the cruise was a bonus. We will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel was great. Comfortable and spacious room. Staff was super nice. Ordered room service for supper and the food was borderline terrible. Other than that it was a wonderful stay

Beautiful Venetian style hotel! Huge shower, real wood finishes, marble and tile-very upscale. Restaurant was delicious albeit a bit expensive. Hot tub and pool are was beautiful and romantic.

The bed was comfortable and I slept well. There was only one washcloth in the bathroom and the towels unfortunately were very stiff sad If they were not dried enough. There were also no coffee cups in the room and the coffee maker was not working correctly.

Great hotel with a very friendly staff. Spent sometime by the fire on the patio. Simo was so helpful and accommodating to our requests.

Our stay at Hotel Viata is always good regarding the accommodations, the restaurant has taken a step backwards in attentive service as well as the chef needs to learn how to cook eggs over easy, we gave up on breakfast after two attempts on the eggs, they were never turned over just served sunny side up and over cooked so the yellow was very firm. The margherita pizza was also just average at best!

A lovely hotel in the hills of Austin. Very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Love the coffee in the lobby in the morning. Courtyard and pool area are very nice.

The room carpet was dirty with a lot of stains. Window was so dirty it was opaque. Frankly, I would expect it from a roadside hotel but not from one of the “best resorts” in Austin
There was also a lot of noise after midnight and early at 6am around the entrance. Noise like a car honking (playing some tunes) dozens of times.

Overnighted with friends and had an amazing stay. Perfect escape after a long day of adventuring. Kudos to the dinner chef and Simo our server!
Live entertainment at dinner was an unexpected bonus.

Nice rooms, friendly staff. The most quiet hotel I’ve every stayed at and there was a wedding going on. All light bulbs really need to be brighter. Felt a little dark in every room.

Arrived two hours early hoping to check in early but they were still flipping rooms, no big deal! Had a drink at the bar and waiting till 4. Checked back in at 4pm (Check in time) and was told the room was still being "inspected". They offered no time of completion or offered to check the status. At this point, I cancelled the reservation and she very quickly offered to refund it without charge. I assume they were oversold and are unable to walk people to other hotels.

Hotel is super pretty. Just the restaurant is bad food and there was a lady inside the restaurant with a full size bulldog. Not the patio inside. She walked in with the dog bowl put it on the table. I love dogs very much but this was too much for me. They could really improve the food. Hotel great.

This hotel was absolutely outstanding. The overall condition and cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable. There is also an amazing restaurant on the property as well. We will definitely stay there again.
