Anchor Inn was the perfect location for me as I did not have a vehicle. . Easy walking distance to the ferry, the
, hiking trails and other amenities, wharf, restaurants

Amazing view as always; unfortunately the Inn is starting to show its age. As well, we were not informed about a holiday party that was going to happen right outside our balcony that provided quite a bit of noise and wasn't conducive to a good sleep that evening.

Hotels.ca customers were assigned to the lower rooms which did not look very appealing. We had topay $30 for an "upgrade" to a higher floor and nicer room. The new room was comfortable and had a lovely view.

All of the staff in every part of the hotel ...front desk ,restaurant, housekeepers etc were all extremely helpful. We were most comfortable and well looked after. We were so grateful for the great time we had!!!

Excellent staff, from front desk, housekeeping, to maintenance every single person was incredibly polite, professional, and helpful. Property is a bit dated but well maintained, the ignorant people smoking dope in the hallway or on their patio made it reek! The pool needs to be fixed, the bottom of the skin is wrinkled and a tripping hazard. The hot tub is permanently closed. Other than the pool and dope smokers I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Campbell River. You need to decide if swimming is needed or if you are okay with the stench of skunk weed in the morning and at night.

The staff and food in the restaurant were fine but the food took ages to arrive and the salad wasn't great. Too much oil.
The tempurature in swimming pool wasn't great. A little chilly.
The room was fine.
Still, I'd return next time

Save your back, money and works and just book elsewhere. The Anchor Inn and Suites is outdated, uncomfortable and some of the staff, unprofessional.

The place is quiet and on the ocean. It is close to town. The driveway to the back is steep.

This hotel has jaw dropping views and is very reasonably priced! The only drawback is that the 5th and 6th floors are accessible by stairs only but an elevator takes you to the fourth floor. It’s well worth the exercise given the price and view!

The hotel is comfortable and the staff are friendly. I found that some repairs were under way, but not too much problem for guests. Beds were very nice. We will stay there again next week!

The pros : Pleasant, helpful staff. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Nice view. Cons: Room was dark, no light over the table. No hooks on the back of bathroom door. The light over the bathroom mirror only worked in conjunction with the fan which was loud. No recycling. Carpets etc are well worn. Towels clean but scratchy. A tired hotel which requires renovating.

Unexpected surprise! Loved the spacious balcony and view, rooms were cleaned everyday and staff was very cheerful and helpful. Lovely stay with two young kids.

Hotel room was tired and in need of renovation.Carpet old and stained.Room had a faint door of old cigarette smoke.When I went to dry my hair I plugged in the blow dryer and the power went out.The house keeping staff tried to get the power back on but were unsuccessful and kindly let me go into the room next door to dry my hair.Once I finished drying my hair the power came back on.Spoke with the front desk upon check out regarding the condition of the carpet and the power outage.and was advised that they would have the carpet cleaned after we checked out.
Not the first time we’ve stayed at this hotel but it will be the last.
