A great welcome from the reception team always and all were most helpful. Roof top bar was a very popular spot and well deserved with friendly staff and a lovely ambiance. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the room was spacious snd comfortable

We have stayed at RM Valeria several times (perhaps 4/5 times) and recommended it to friends. It’s v good. However, each time we stay, they ask if it is our first time and first trip to Malaga. It is always a good policy to welcome back regulars so I would have expected this touch from Room Mate. Regardless, I like the hotel. It’s very comfortable (one of the most comfortable beds we have ever experienced) and has a cool roof bar/ pool deck for use in the warmer months. It’s also in a great location in the rejuvenated port area and super convenient for restaurants/ bars and for transport.

Great smaller hotel near to both the harbour for shots and dining and ready walking distance to the town centre. Close to the bus station due trips out if town. Loved the rooftop terrace for food and drinks with a beautiful view.

Excellent location, walking distance from station and near to both old town and harbour area. Loved the quirky decor, there is a great rooftop bar and all hotel staff we experienced were friendly and helpful.
Rooms kept very clean with good amenities and a comfy bed.

Great hotel in a prime location. The port/waterfront is a 5min walk whilst the city centre is on your doorstep.
Lovely roof top bar offers great views over the port and Malaga. The pool is small but refreshing.
Breakfast is nice - a range of: breads, cold meats, cheeses and fresh fruit.
Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated.
Would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Hotel was in a great location, overlooking the port and just 100yards away from the main street in old town. 10min walk from Central Train Station.
It was super clean in all areas of the hotel. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. Bed was comfy. Shower was very powerful.
Roof top terrace was great - good sun beds, small plunge pool. Great cocktails - lovely spot to have a drink before or after dinner.
My only criticism would be they only gave a free bottle of water on day 1. I think they should supply a free bottle of water everyday.

Elena and Yesleyma were such wonderful hosts. They gave us great recommendatons and helped us book our ride to Ronda and even the one from Ronda back to the airport. The room was beautiful and in a great location. Surprisingly quiet with a small relaxing rooftop pool. Would surely advise anyone to stay there while in Málaga.

We have stayed at Mate Valeria five or six times. It has a great location (10 min walk from airport train and just across the street from the main shopping). Rooms are clean and nice. Beware of the ones towards the street though (back and front) as they can get noisy. Small but very nice pool area and bar at the roof with very comfortable sun beds. Downside is that pool opens at 11 am (way too late) and the bar prices are just outrageous. A caña that cost 2-2,50 elsewhere is 4€ here…

Would def stay again but would upgrade to a sea view as we didn’t have a view and the room was quite dark. But brilliant hairdryers !!!! 👍👍👍 so close to shops, restaurants and beach

Our stay at the Room Mate Valeria was wonderful from start to finish. From check in to check out, you will be treated with dignity and courtesy. The room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The area is so walkable and we enjoyed our strolls through old town and along the quay. The restaurant choices were fantastic and all service was impeccable. The walk to the beach was easy. We felt safe and relaxed the entire trip. When you stay, be sure to check out the terrace bar, it has the best cocktails and views. Only complaint is that the snack menu could be a little more varied, but the margherita pizza was one of the best I've ever had. And I don't generally like pizza.

This hotel is in a great location like most of the Room Mate hotels that I’ve stayed in. The rooms are very nice in all aspects. They also have a very nice roof top terrace with an amazing view of the port and Muelle Uno. There is also an excellent restaurant in the premises even though it is not part of the hotel itself. But most of all, the staff has always been very attentive to all my needs. Thank you all for making my stay so special. Antonio

Super location for the city centre. Spotless hotel and excellent roof top bar. Loved our stay. One negative would be the fact that we only had roof light windows so could not see outside.
