STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared.

Staying at this approximately 2-acre Caye/Island was amazing! Great snorkeling and swimming right off the Caye. We saw rays, sharks and all kinds of other sea life. Did I mention the amazing seafood caught by local fisherman and brought directly to the Caye? The lobster was fantastic! All the employees there were super friendly and knowledgeable too. You will not regret your stay on Ranguana Caye!

I feel that everyone should experience staying on a remote island at least once in your life. This is THE island to do so. Be aware that due to local fishermen and almost non existent conservation practices there are very few “food fish” in and around this picturesque island cay. In this writers opinion, the staff made the trip memorable, as such we have decided upon returning next year as well. The food was divine, we ate the local lobster each and every day along with local staples such as fried jacks, plantain and whole fried fish.
