The location of the property was fantastic. Shopping, food, hiking all within a very reasonable distance. The game room in the basement and the hot tub were fun and relaxing. Checking in and out was really easy and host was quick to reply to all messages. Bring your own wash cloths and hand towels, bath towels are provided. If we are ever in the area again, we would like to stay here.

Had a last minute emergency and was not able to stay after full payment was made, property owner was understanding and offered me another stay with and he didn’t have to do that. Honestly he could of just took money and said oh well. Respect and definitely will visit. Thanks Again

This house is extremely clean and has a great layout for small or larger groups. Very new furniture and decorations made for a great stay and the entire process was an excellent experience. Ronny was very helpful and responsive and a great host, thanks Ronny!

The house was perfect and VERY clean. It had everything we needed for our family of 5. We enjoyed the hot tub, beautiful relaxing tub and shower. The house and neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to from restaurants and shopping. We even played ping pong in the basement. We would definitely stay again when in town. Thank you!

Would be helpful if papertowels/toilet paper was included. Also the kitchen utensils are limited. but overall we loved the house!

Beautifully decorated, minimal and perfect. My husband and two kids loved the layout, the bedrooms, hot tub, fireplace, convenient to Shawnee mountain, Target and TJMaxx. Looking forward to our next stay!.

Very happy with the cabin. Clean, updated. Ping pong was fun, so was the hot tub. House was very clean and had everything you’d need to make your stay comfortable.

The house is clean and modern and situated near stores, and restaurants. It is 15-20 min from the Shawnee mountain and Camelback. The hot tub is in great condition, and we enjoyed using it.

My boyfriend and I had the best time. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Everything you could need. The finished basement with the ping pong table is the best addition (not to mention the hot tub). We loved cooking and just relaxing. We even saw a few deer while eating breakfast. No oven as mentioned in another review, but it really doesn’t matter at all. There’s a toaster oven, microwave, Keurig, nice-sized refrigerator, and everything you’d need to cook, eat, and drink! Ronny was so great to work with and was so helpful and quick to respond. We really can’t wait to book here again ASAP! Thank you Ronny!!!!

House is beautiful on the inside but not really good for small kids or handicapped. Seems to have been recently remodeled. As lovely as the house is on the inside the outside parking scared me big time because it is a very steep down hill driveway that seems as if with just a slip of the car and you will go straight down the embankment because there isn’t something big to block a car from going over. On the day that we were to arrive was when I received the email access instructions with a note that stated do not use back stairs because they will be repaired. So I had to make sure that I had my 8 year old autistic boy stay with my husband and I in the master bedroom so he wouldn’t get hurt. I also had to put a portable foot safety alarm lock for the access door to the downstairs basement play area and had to avoid it completely because the stairs were really steep and had no banister/guardrail or anything on the left side of the wooden stairs going to the down there. There is no TV in the master bedroom only in the living room, one kid bedroom and in the basement play area that I avoided. The bathroom in the master bedroom had bad sewer smell that kept reeking on and off even if no one used it. So I figured not using it at all would help but that didn’t help. Oh and as someone else mentioned there is no oven to bake so I had no thanksgiving turkey or chicken during my stay. For heat they have splitters set up so there were some cold spots. Wasn’t fun walking into a heat spot to a cold spot. It is absolutely not safe to let children play outside as the fence they mentioned was a short chain link fence towards property line that didn’t help since the house is on a top of a steep embankment and the front is completely open and leads to a main road that we kept hearing trucks fly while in bed. The view is beautiful but if you stand there looking out kitchen benched window you suddenly see cars flying down curve because the house was built on a blind curve. Hard to explain that part. To top all this off after a few days our rented suburban truck breaks began to squeal and they wore out.

Very nice house with plenty of space. Very clean. Smart TV’s so you can connect your streaming services. Only wish there was a more comfortable seating arrangement to watch TV in the living room. Maybe another couch. Was out most of the time so it was not a big deal but when we stayed in we had to get another chair from kitchen to sit comfortably.

The house was lovely, very clean. Great location, in a wooded setting but close to downtown restaurants and activities. The hot tub was fantastic! Ronny a very responsive host.

We stayed here during a long weekend to explore the area and run a 5k. The property is incredible! Very cool modern decor, awesome soaking tub in the main bathroom, awesome basement space for entertaining. Location was easy to find and communication with the host was easy. Would definitely recommend this stay and would definitely stay here again.

House was a great space for our small group. Plenty of fun amenities and perks with a gorgeous view in a wooded and secluded area. It was only a 5-10 minute drive into town and ubers were readily available. The kitchen is a little bit nontraditional with no oven and very few cooking tools available so this is the only thing that one should be aware of when they book.

We had a great time. Close to many things in the Poconos and to East Stroudsburg University. Ronny was great. Answers all our questions and was very helpful. Thanks for the great stay.

The location was great as we planned hiking in the area. The house appears to be newly updated albeit with somewhat shotty workmanship. The hot tub was great and already turned up! The ping pong table is fun! Beds very comfortable. All in all very happy with the stay.

House is absolutely beautiful. Especially the master bath. Walmart was less than 15 min away. Mini-golf was 20 min away. Hot Tub was great!! I brought my projector and screen and set it up outside at night while we were in the hot tub. We deff enjoyed our stay. No issues with wifi/reception.

Loved it! The rooms were great ! Loved the kitchen and bathrooms. The basement area was nice as well . The property was close enough to restaurants etc. We felt safe as well. One small suggestion . The rug in the living room is very slippery. It may need some stoppers underneath .

I recently stayed at "The Bern" with my mountain bike racing team (The B-Team) for the Glen Park Enduro. We loved this house. The amenities were great, and the location was convenient to Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg, and was about a 10 minute drive to the Glen Park. My friends and I will definitely be back!
