Staff were beyond great and the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was superb with fantastic service. Reception were so friendly and accommodating. Perfect location for an overnight stay.

I spent 2 nights and 3 days and it was a pleasant experience. All the staff members rightfrom reception were very warm and welcoming. I ll specially like to appreciate Roselyn and her male colleague at breakfast time, they were very warm, kindly and friendly. They went the extra mile to make my aged parents comfortable at breakfast time. Thank u and well done Roselyn

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable and heating easily controlled which was great.
Food good both at breakfast and dinner with Christmas dinner excellent.

Usual noise, 2am onwards until around 2:30am noisy people talking loud in the corridors and slamming doors.
Stain on sheets, soft mattress.

Great stay exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, food excellent, room clean and comfortable would definitely stay here again.

The only negative comment I have is that the room key and the room number had not been aligned so that another booking was able to use their key to open the door while I was in the room. Reception sorted it out but when the separate bookings were corrected, I couldn't use the key. Again, Reception sorted it out very quickly.

Nice hotel with really friendly, helpful staff. Food was good.
Only issue was the live entertainment on the Saturday night. I can only describe him as Dire Straits without the Straits…😂

Are room was at the front which is near a busy roundabout. If you need quiet to sleep i would book a room at the back of the hotel but other than that it was excellant!! Food, service, staff were all wonderful and very helpful and friendly!!

We stayed in this hotel for two nights while staying in Ireland for a golfing break. The staff were excellent and very friendly.

I stay here at this hotel quite a lot. And allways have the best experience but unfortunately this time not so good as the tv wouldn’t work. So sat in silence all night and morning. And the water wouldn’t get hot for a shower.

I had a late arrival so didn’t spend too much time at the hotel. The staff were great, room was spacious and clean and the bed and pillows super comfy. Breakfast was good with a cooked and continental selection.

The Mourne Country is a nice hotel but in a poor position for Newry town, had to get taxis everywhere. The room was clean, comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a terrific shower. Staff were lovely. However, the food was way below par! We had ceasar salads that were greasy and the worst apple crumble I've ever tasted (sickly sweet with flavourless apple. Breakfast was ok to be fair. Price was reasonable too.

The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a bar and restaurant that are fine. It is a very comfortable place to stay.

The Mourne Country Hotel is a perfect place to stay to explore the surrounding areas including Newry and the Mourne. It ticked every box for me.

This is a basic facility with standard bedroom accommodation. Staff were helpful but the whole place lacked a happy atmosphere.
