I was welcomed to the property, shown to my room by a friendly and helpful lady. She explained about the shower, tea and coffee making, and how to access the property using the fob. There was also a written guide in the room. The problem I encountered was the small spotlights were flickering which made reading or knitting difficult so the first night I lay on the floor by the bathroom door to read as these lights did not flicker. On the second night a chair had been provided so I was able to sit at the same end but on a chair which was more comfortable.

Access was easy, room clean and as described. Only drawback was my room was roadside and was affected by the traffic noise. Could triple glazing be used to avoid any noise?

This accommodation doesn’t look much driving past but the proprietor is very friendly and this is very good value basic but decent accommodation. I’ve stayed here before and would definitely return in the future.🤓
