I can’t say enough about the S Hotel. The staff and service was wonderful without being overbearing. The property was smaller, but beautiful. Despite the ocean being unexpectedly rough, we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway and would gladly come back in the future. Thank you for a great experience.

The S was exactly we needed as a short winter break celebrating my wife’s birthday. Beach and Pool was perfect!! We will be back.

My recent stay here left much to be desired. Despite the anticipation of a luxurious experience, I found myself encountering several issues that significantly impacted my stay. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the upkeep of the rooms & hallways was lacking. The promised vegetarian/vegan food options were not readily available as advertised, adding a layer of inconvenience to my stay. Also, the constant battle w/the malfunctioning AC in my original room & the disruptive presence of painters outside my door at unreasonably early hours only added to my frustration. After addressing these concerns w/management, I was eventually relocated to a room w/a picturesque view. While this change was appreciated, it was not w/o its drawbacks. The thin walls made it difficult to escape the sounds of neighboring guests, whether it be amorous couples or the bustling activity of the staff kitchen below. In the midst of these challenges, Marlan, the assistant GM, stood out as a beacon of professionalism & attentiveness. His efforts to address my grievances were commendable, yet not enough to overshadow the overall shortcomings of the hotel. The combination of the exorbitant cost of the resort and the lackluster quality of the experience, coupled w/ encounters w/some unsatisfactory staff, including a rude hostess & inattentive waitress leaves me unable to recommend the hotel. Compared to my stay at Excellence Oyster Bay the quality difference was starkly disappointing.

Safest location, less than 5mins from the airport. Felt safe to walk outside of the resort during the day. Great activities, not crowded and easy sign up. Best food across the popular resorts! Caring and attentive staff especially Andre!!

Some staff like the receptionists, waitresses, entertainment manager and security were aggressive, passive aggressive, and condescending. The security guard made me feel unsafe and threatened. He was extremely confrontational unnecessarily. There was construction noises waking us up in the mornings. The water took about 45 minutes to get hot. The bathroom had an unpleasant scent to it. Room service is not available. The beach is not private. On a positive note some staff including the lifeguards, bartenders, DJ and grill chefs were friendly and welcoming. We were promised a full refund by the manager and have not received it. We were also told that the security guard will be fired.

Hotel S staff is AMAZING! They go out of their way to make sure that their guests are happy. I had a small mishap (food not delivered on time) and Marlon-one of the managers-went above and beyond to make it right. The property is well maintained and the restaurants all had a good selection. I would definitely stay here again.

Recently stayed 9 days at the S Hotel in MoBay Jamaica. From the time we checked into this beautiful property, to the final check out, we were blown away by the ambiance, service, cuisine, nightly entertainment, and their overall attention to detail. We experienced excellent family-like service from everyone on staff. From assistant GM Marlon, to the beachchair attendant Sheldon (and everyone in between) they all made our stay a truly wonderful experience. Our suite was spacious and had a breathtaking ocean view. Relaxed daily in the soothing IIrie Bath pools and sauna and enjoyed the complementary foot message given in spa salon.The gym was small but very useable and was fully enjoyed. The 24 hour Cafe had delicious coffee and some of the best cake slices I ever tasted! Beach on premise is shared with Doctors Cave but never was never over crowded. Restaurants only open on certain days of the week and required reservations, which made it challenging to get into at times. But the food served in all 3 were Top Chef quality in presentation and taste. The 5th floor Jamrock restaurant has a view of the ocean and sunset that’s out of this world! Beautiful! I can’t say enough about the buffet service staff. Darmara and Romariio were standouts!! Great service, always with a smile and kind words. The daily activities and nightly live entertainment was also fabulous. Great location, Great people. Great hotel! I highly recommend this amazing hotel and will definitely return!

The location of this property is great, it’s close to the airport and you can walk right out to the hip strip. The price for the hotel stay was way too high. The food options were limited in the “Buffett “, the menu was the same most days and the food in the restaurants wasn’t anything the brag about. It’s great that they have more seafood options than others all inclusive hotels but having lobster is not worth the addition 2k that I spent on 2 people to stay here over the price of the Jewel Grande, where I stayed last year when I visited Montego Bay. For the price I would also expect more than 2 beers and a couple soft drinks in my room daily. The rooms are run down and the poorly constructed, toilet seat was broken, refrigerator didn’t work, the fire sprinkler constantly dripped and the tv barely worked. Although the staff was very friendly, i would not stay here again and I would not recommend.

Our stay at the S Hotel was phenomenal. The people were amazing. The food was amazing. The entire resort was amazing. The people made my husband and I feel so welcomed and anything we needed they made sure that it was taken care of. This experience was a 10/10. It’s located to the one main attractions so that’s a plus.

Walking distance to entertainment and shopping. Easy access to transportation. Fun activities throughout the day.

The room was great, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The dining facilities were only average. Could only get reservations for two of the three restaurants all other meals were at the Marketplace buffet or the outdoor buffet. The buffet meals were fine, but I would have liked more variety. Also, there is music by the pool that starts at 10 am and goes until 10 pm…it would have been fine except for the heavy bass. That is not that enjoyable for older (50-60 year old) guests. Also called down for toilet paper at one point and it took 2 hours to get it. Overall…had a great stay, just a few things that put a damper on it.

I’m making plans to go back this year. The food is fresh and always has great options. Layout of the room is great, beds are comfortable and my ocean view room is magical. The only thing I didn’t like was the excursion planning. The hotel needs to formalize it with published prices/packages or just work with companies.

The staff and service were excellent. Each and every member of the staff greeted us warmly and pretty much helped us with whatever we needed. The hotel is right on the beach with private access which was awesome. Food options were good but you do need to reserve for Ala Carte dining

fabulous food and staff. unlike any other all-inclusive. no need to be a preferred. everyone is preferred. high end alcohol. high end menu choices. clean. plenty of sitting and lounging spaces. no need to get up at 5am to reserve a chair! seriously top notch place. just remember it's a boutique hotel so it is small. not a whole lot of entertainment - just the right amount of music and events to entertain. the beach is beautiful. the pool area is spacious and clean. my husband and I were very impressed.

The beach side of the road where the hotel is located is extremely narrow and the road itself is quite busy. While we never heard our neighbors next door we did hear the road noise frequently. People have a tendency to blast music while driving by and it makes it a bit less than pleasant to be in the room sometimes. Service at the S varied greatly. Sometimes it was great but there were many times when things just weren’t quite what they should have been for a resort of this class. Some examples: An extra benefit we were to receive upon check-in never materialized although mentioned by the front desk. The buffet had numerous occasions when the food was just not replenished and the buffet itself did not have any food available when it was supposed to open the morning of our departure. At one of the signature restaurants we received an amuse bouche and a pallet cleanser on one booking but not at the second (although we saw other tables receiving these items). The coffee generally was really good however, on one occasion the coffee served outside near the pool at breakfast was not drinkable. Not only did we notice this but another table also had noticed. Although comments were made to the staff that there was a problem with the coffee in the percolator, nothing was done. Activities were limited probably because the hotel was not full until near our departure date.

A huge selling point for this resort is that it’s small and adults only. The view as you walk in is breathtaking as you can see through the pool and directly to the ocean. The staff were wonderful and the pool was great. The restaurants were just okay…I actually enjoyed the buffet the most. I traveled with two friends and our room was well appointed with a king and full size bed. The bathroom was so large it was bigger than the bedroom! Overall we enjoyed our stay and thought it provided a nice introduction to Jamaica.

I have been to Jamaica many times. Shotel hotel is amazing.

This hotel is a whole vibe! If you’re looking for a mature venue where you can relax, listen to live music with great food, great service and professional staff then this is your place to book when coming to Montego Bay, Jamaica! You will enjoy every element of culture here as you learn about historic figures throughout the hotel including the amazing art work. You won’t be disappointed if you just want a grown folk experience. Hope it stays this way because I’ll definitely be back! 10 out of 10! 🇯🇲❤️

We so enjoyed our stay at this resort! This was our best vacation hands down. From the moment you walk into the lobby it just feels like home. We loved everything about our stay from the room setup(we loved the deep soaking tub), the staff was absolutely wonderful, the food was FABULOUS, the drinks were perfect, there was an abundance of fun activities and the music by poolside provided the perfect ambience to remind you of the beautiful Jamaican culture. This S Hotel does not disappoint! We are so happy that we chose this hotel as we stayed at a Secrets resort in the city and this hotel is much, much better. As a matter of fact this is our hotel of choice going forward when we visit Montego Bay.
