The owners are delightfully hospitable, it has a feel of a grand past but faded with the passage of time but which gives it much charm. It has been in the same family for over 200 years. These Chateau's are enormously expensive to maintain and it's a labour of passion for the owners to keep the place as their home. You can't help but be enchanted and by staying you're supporting them.

AMAZING! Fantastic location for e-biking- less than 1/2hr to Chateau Chambord… You get to stay with a friendly hosts dwelling in their own family’s authentic castle- the painted portraits, the furniture, the history is all there in the rooms- your room! One-of-a-kind experience… overlooking the Loire and a lovely breakfast included!

The person in charge could not have nicer and helpful.

The owners were very kind and attentive.
The breakfast was well presented and of good quality.
The grounds were in a poor state and without a proper patio/ hard surface, hence no where truly comfortable to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the Loire.
The bedroom suite was typically “ old chateau “ quirky but charming.
Sadly, the bathroom was a disappointment, clean towels each day but the sanitary ware was tired and the decoration was 1950, paint peeling off the roof light was awful. The bath was ancient with shower facilities limited to a hand held spray with nothing to hang it to for support.
