This was the most unique stay we had over our 2 week bike trip. We stayed 1 night mid week and the castle was very quiet. The views are spectacular. Our server was super friendly and suggested a few dishes for dinner and we really enjoyed our meal. Breakfast in the morning was great as well. Delicious croissants. They helped us find a secure place to store our bikes overnight.
PS - if planning to bike here, know that there will be A LOT of climbing! But it was worth the ride.
Also - we stopped for lunch at a great place called Texinger Pizzeria before biking up to the castle. Great pizza and the owner was great as well.
Our room was quite small but still very cool!

Die Lage war wunderbar, die Burgführung war trotz der Abwesenheit des Guides von einer Ehrenamtlichen sehr gut. Kein TV im Zimmer! 😊
Es lag viel Schutt im Burghof, manches , z. B. die Zinnenverzierung und die Steinfiguren waren ein bisschen kitschig,

Super gave accommodatie. Onze kamer hoog in die toren was echt super! Met dakterras. Mooi heel ver en wijds uitkijk.
Vond het ontbijt wat minder. Weinig keuze. Maar er waren ook maar drie kamers verhuurd. Dus op zich snap ik dat dan wel weer.
