This is a lovely hotel with top notch management. The room was attractive, comfortable and clean. We had a walk- in shower. The pool area is lovely with many choices of hammocks, swinging chaises and chairs. This is a wonderful place and I would stay there again! It is convenient to the Caldera shops which is a plus. Dionysus and Georgia were so helpful every day. Breakfast was amazing too! Come here - you will love it!

Amazing staff, great location, excellent facilities

Hi all, we just had a great hotel experience in Santorini. If you’re heading to Santorini and are looking for clean, family run, great location accommodation check out Dream Island Hotel, Santorini. The owners Chris ( Christos) & Georgia (Giorgia) and their reception staff Kostantina & Dionysis are fabulous. The pool is fab, pool towels provided, laundry services available for a fee, breakfast is available also for a fee and rooms serviced every day. Dream island is in located in Fira and approx 300mts walk from the town centre. We stayed in a standard double room. Highly recommend.

Dionysis the worker was a really nice guy! Excellent hospitality on his part, always making sure everything was ok and always smiling and having a good attitude! The cleaning women were gentle people, too. The place was really clean all the way through. They clean the rooms daily (some places don't!) and replace your glass cups and coffee mugs each morning.

The omelet was overcooked once. This might be a bigger deal than it seems because I only ordered breakfast from the hotel three times, but I couldn't eat the omelet that morning. The heating unit in my room (room 11) was situated above the bathroom and trapped all the heat there instead of letting it distribute through the room, but, thankfully, the weather got better. Laundry might be considered expensive (15.00 Euros) but they do it and fold it and everything, so I'm on the fence about that one.

Beautifully kept, friendly attentive staff and great location

walk down to the centre isn’t particularly nice and cars/bikes etc give no regard to pedestrians. There are no footpaths & there were a couple of near misses. There appears to be no rules of the road, just a free for all!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. We walked every day to the town center so it's very easy to get around and a nice walk. The pool was clean and our grand daughter loved swimming. Very comfortable, quiet area. We didn't eat the breakfast at the hotel but chose to walk to the cafes close by to get coffee and breakfast. There's a restaurant next to the hotel that has excellent food also. Great hotel and we would stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to get to go again to such a beautiful island!

I have to make a big shoutout to this amazing hotel, not only because of the accommodations but also the people running this hotel. Firstly, the accommodations: the bedroom was exactly like the pictures, the beds were so comfy, they were fixed to the ground in the same white material of the walls and ceilings, not making any noise… so beautiful! There was a skylight in the big bathroom, making much brighter than we were expecting! The room was connected with other rooms through a lovely patio where we eat our big and excellent breakfast (from which we could, arrange a good snack for the day!). If there was noise from the patio, we could hear it easily I admit, but everyone was respectful, luckily! The patio was a short stair away from the amazing pool, whit a big area to relax around the pool on those hot days (dreamy really!). The location is really central, from the bus station you have to walk a little bit, but it didn’t bother us (you have the possiblility to ask for transfer if you prefer!) And the sunrise... breathtaking! Everything was so nice; you won’t be disappointed at all! And last but not the least, the personnel… They helped us in a stressful time (a wallet was stolen/lost) and they guide as thought all process, arranging transportation to the airport in a late hour and such a short notice. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done for us. I’ll write here an important tip: if you travel to an island in Greece by airplane, make sure if you have to have a layover, make it in Athens. If your ID cards get stolen, if you have only a layover inside the country, you will only need to go to the police and get a paper (written in Greek). If that is not the case, you have to fly to Athens to your embassy and spend easily almost 100€ a flight (is way fastest than the boat) to go there and take care of everything you need, adding another 100€ to come back to the island. Is an all-day loss. Regardless all the setbacks, we highly recommend this hotel!
