Riad La Samira

We had an amazing stay at riad la Samira. We would specifically like to mention Salah, who did everything to make us feel home. Salah is a very relaxed and friendly person. From the first contact to check-out, everything was organised perfectly. The room was very cozy and the breakfast was good. We would definitely recommend staying here.

There was nothing we did not like.

The Riad is very centrally located, making it easy to get anywhere in the Medina. There are only a few rooms, which made the whole place feel quiet and private throughout our stay. Despite being in the middle of the Medina, we experienced no noise at night and always felt comfortable walking to and from the Riad, including in the evening. The room was comfortable, with a good bed, air conditioning and a private bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay. One thing to keep in mind is that, unlike a hotel, the rooms are not cleaned every day and there is no fridge in the room, so this is something to consider depending on your preferences and length of stay. The pool is small but lovely, and more than enough given the number of guests. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared every morning, starting at 8:30 am. The Riad also arranged our airport transfer, which was very convenient. Since the Riad is located inside the Medina, cars cannot reach the door. If you need to take an Uber, the pick-up point is at Jemaa el-Fnaa, which is about a 5-minute walk from the Riad. The entrance is tucked away in one of the smaller streets of the Medina, but once you know where it is, it is easy to find. We never felt that the street was unsafe or sketchy, even when returning in the evening. Mohammed was an amazing host and a big part of what made our stay so enjoyable. He took the time to give us genuinely useful recommendations for restaurants, hammams, places to visit and local spots, and was always available on WhatsApp whenever we had a question or needed help. He was also very flexible with our check-in time and kindly let us leave our luggage at the Riad after check-out. He made an effort to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and his warmth and willingness to help really made us feel welcome. This was a great example of Moroccan hospitality, and we truly appreciated it. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

The only point to note is that we wish the room was cleaned more regularly.

Staying at Riad La Samira was easily the highlight of our trip! The riad itself is absolutely stunning—very well decorated with gorgeous, traditional touches and beautiful terraces and a pool that are perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. From the second we arrived, Mohamed went above and beyond to ensure every moment of our stay was perfect. He didn’t just host us; he welcomed us with open arms and truly treated us like family. The location is unbeatable—right in the center of everything, making it super easy to explore. Plus, starting with an incredible, fresh breakfast on the property was amazing. Mohamed took such genuine care of us. We can't wait to return!

We had such an amazing stay at Riad LaSamira. Right from the start, check-in was super smooth, and the staff were incredibly welcoming—always greeting us with huge smiles and making us feel right at home. The room itself was great, really clean, and the bed was super comfortable. But the real lifesaver was the indoor pool. Marrakech can get hot, so being able to jump in and cool down in that beautiful pool after walking around all day was just amazing. Location-wise, you seriously can't beat it. It's perfectly situated right in the center of everything. We could easily walk to all the best restaurants, museums, and main activities without any hassle. Also, definitely don't skip the breakfast—it was absolutely delicious every single morning. If you're planning a trip to Marrakech, I highly recommend staying here. We loved everything about it!
