La vue depuis la fenêtre.

Gut erreichbar, Parken ohne Probleme. Freundlicher Empfang, gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Ca. 10 Gehminuten bis zur Innenstadt. Für kurze Aufenthalte zu Geschäftszwecken sehr gut geeignet.
Rezeptions-/Lounge-/Barbereich nicht gerade gemütlich.

La chambre 007 située dans le hall d’entrée est trop bruyante et la vue sur l’extérieur est très moche

Renovated, Clean, Modern & Convenient Hotel near the Historic Gate, 10 Min Walk to the City Center. Bed is Confy, Breakfast is great with local specialities. Parking on site available, has charging docks for e-Mobility, 24h Desk, Complimentary Water in the Room. Good choice for Fribourg! I Always stay here, will come back, nothing to complain.

L'hôtel est calme, à priori fréquenté par autre chose que des voleurs, mais en Suisse ils doivent être là ou on ne les attend pas !
L'attitude nonchalante et dédaigneuse du personnel qui explique que si on vous a pris quelque chose c'est certainement par erreur et que cela va revenir... Soit il faut être naïf soit idiot, soit les 2, peut être est-ce la combinaison des 2 qui défini le mieux le personnel mis à par la jeune fille à l'accueil le matin qui elle n'est que naïve... En tout cas en ne faisant rien, rien n'arrive jamais... Peut être nous faire écrire nos coordonnées sur du papier toilette au lieu du papier normal aurait été plus judicieux concernant le traitement dudit papier !

Did not meet my 4 star hotel expectations. It was more of a 3 star.
NO AC in the room, impossible to be comfortable when temperature is 30+
Extremely cramped room with very little space around the bed.

Staff was very nice, room was clean.
It was VERY hot in the room, no air-condition, big window with sun shining almost all day long. Additional they repair the parking so we hade a lot of noise. We got water to the room only in the first day (and stayed two nights).

As of April 2023 this (old, has to be said)hotel is under renovation. While no prior warning at the reservation is available, for the FULL fee you get a room and a barely decent breakfast in a very depressing basement room. Otherwise, this 4* hotel at this stage offers NO:
- reception
- clean entrance
- lobby
- restaurant or bar
- dinner service

Hotel is being renovated and this was not mentioned when booking. Dust sheets everywhere on the ground floor so no lobby or other facilities.

Pretty good location in Fribourg, room size of the Junior suite is generous, room was clean
Very cold in the room, would not recommend staying in such hotel if you are not used to low temperatures during sleeping. Breakfast was poor, without any hot food except some boiled eggs - for a Mercure 4 stars rated hotel in Switzerland, the overall experience was bad.

The location of the hotel is perfect , close tot the old city and the perfect location for a visit in the city.
Staff on the hotel is very helpful and friendly , breakfast is more then good , ifyou can't find a thing then you have not looked well enough
The rooms were outdated for the price you are paying.. old fashioned furniture , beds are hard and this is one of the view hotels where you still get a room key as in key.
