Great location, comfortable and well equipped, excellent parking. Elodie was a lovely host and we hope to return to La Rochelle one day.

The apartment had a good fan, which was great with the hot weather, air conditioning would be a nice addition to make a lovely apartment perfect.

Location is great for exploring La Rochelle old town.

Communication was not great. On arrival it wasn’t clear we could only enter the apartment after meeting the contact person at the parking garage which was a different location. The contact person, although very nice and friendly, did not speak English or txt with us and my French is poor. This was made worst by the host not being contactable on our arrival day. On leaving we found out that the expected departure time was 10am only when we contacted the local contact to agree key handover of keys. Overall if we had spoken French none of this would have been a major issue so suggest if you stay here and you don’t speak French be very proactive in contacting the host in advance to ensure all check in and check out information is clear in advance.
