Fantastic views and location, our room had a balcony looking over the valley. The herberge was lovely and peaceful and we had a good nights sleep throughout our stay. The owner (I am sorry that I have forgotten her name) was very welcoming and helpful during our stay.

The accommodation is in an excellent location with a view of the Eiger. We love that it’s close to Grindelwald Station. There is adequate variety of food for the breakfast buffet.
We appreciate that the female host said that she could have prepared sandwiches for us for our Jungfraujoch visit had we notified her in advance.
We think that the beddings and bath towels can be improved. Not sure if it’s by design, but additional powerpoints would be useful. There was only one in the room which was located by the door.

The location is great with stunning views from the balcony
The bed isn't comfortable and the pillow might as well not be there given how thin it is. The owners also repeatedly emphasise all their rules, it was like being at school
