It was in a pretty good location, a bus ride away from most sights and no crowds. We found some shops a bit of a walk away and dinner was just round the corner. The owner was lovely and gave us some great materials to browse through for things to do around here.
There were two sort of issues that are worth mentioning. The shower ran out of hot water pretty quick, but the weather was hot enough for that not to be a problem. And second, even though there was a kitchen and a washing machine, there weren’t really any supplies (there were no dishwashing liquid, sponge, tea towels, salt, pepper, and there was no washing machine liquid). I’m not sure if this was mentioned anywhere on the booking site, we were just a little surprised.

There was a charm in the place, and the hostess was cheerful and nice. The beds were comfortable and the A/C really helpful - the area is very very humid.
With little effort and love the whole experience can become so much better.. The trash can in the bathroom was broken, the shower drainage was blocked, the garden chairs and table were in really bad state.. In general you got the feeling of being in a place where not even a euro is spent in maintaining it.
