The views, the food and the staff were outstanding!!!

The pillows

This was one of the best stays we had during our 10-day holiday in Portugal, where we stayed at nine different places in the same price range. The view from the room was absolutely stunning, and the large panoramic window and glass balcony made it possible to enjoy the scenery from almost anywhere in the room. The pool area also looked lovely, although unfortunately the weather wasn’t ideal for swimming during our stay. The breakfast was really good as well. The surroundings were peaceful and idyllic, with a farm and animals, while still being close to restaurants, beautiful hiking routes, and lake. We would definitely recommend this place!

The view, the view and the view

Nothing

The host was very courteous and professional. The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by animals such as sheep and cows. There is also a lovely dog named Xira on the grounds. The room was spacious, and the view over the river is breathtaking. There are several restaurants nearby. The breakfast is quite satisfying.

There were only two minor downsides, in my personal experience: 1) The lighting in the room could be improved. The bedside lamps give off a pleasant, very warm glow, but they are not ideal for reading. 2) There is no partition between the bedroom and the bathroom, which makes it impossible to have privacy when using the bathroom. A curtain or a folding screen would be helpful.
