The house is located 35min walking from downtown or 5min by car. Probably the best view in Velas- Sao Jorge with Pico volcano as the landscape! The internet is good. The house has all the machines needed and the managers were very kind to leave enough clothes /dishes detergent (which is not usual in the places where I stayed) or even nespresso👌👌👌! Very calm place. THANK YOU! 👍👍👍

Everything! The house was great, pretty big, super clean and comfortable for the 7 of us. Waking up with the views to Pico was just amazing!! The house owner was also very nice, carying and attencious. If you have the time in your visit take the opportunity to get to know her and her story. And mister Thor..... mister Thor was great!!! He was like a guide througout all our stay! He helped us with the house, with tips and tricks to visite the island and take the most of it and he was always available 24/7. We definetly recommend staying here and we will definetly return!!

The only thing that would be nice would be a bigger couch so that eveyone could sit but other than that the house was great!

Amazing views on Pico and Faial from the breakfast terras and swimming pool. The owner gave us splendid tips on how to spend our 3 days in Sao Jorge. He arranged taxi pickup in case of long non circular walks. We cooked twice at the quinta, but had a good dinner recommended by the owner as well . When we return to Sao Jorge it will be here.

The location was excellent and the communication between the host was great. Very large and comfortable rooms. The private house with two bedrooms is absolutely amazing, great place for a family vacation. Everyday fresh bread was delivered to our door, and cheese and meats were on our refrigerator so that you could have a nice breakfast.

We got 2 apartments, one was a private house which was fantastic, the other one was a first level flat. The first level flat wasn't as private, and unfortunately you can hear every step of the people staying above, which was a little bit annoying. The bathrooms were great, the only complain is that there isn't a support for the shower head.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Quinta das Figueiras. The rooms are spacious, the view from the terrace spectacular, and a swim in the pool in this magnificent scenery is just gorgeous. The host is very kind and helpful and had plenty of tips for us to explore the Azores islands. Breakfast was put in our fridge and we had fresh bread rolls hanging at our door every morning. We can highly recommend this location for a stay on São Jorge.
