Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Once all of the fees were added up, instead of the advertising $70 a night, the cost actually came to $159.00 a night. The home was not clean. There was a dirty glass in the cabinet and 4 dirty forks in the drawer. Also the living room floor had animal fur on the floor.The mattresses are probably not designed for adults.

My wife and I were here for our 2nd anniversary, we went to see nearby Cumberland island, St. Mary’s, this is an awesome place! The room was cozy and in a quiet area!

We wanted to go inexpensive this weekend since had been vacationing tons over the holidays! We were on business doing an enviro well water test 2 hrs north of here and thought why not!? Let's go to St.Mary's and stay cheap & visit w/our kids in Jacksonville for the weekend! This was the least expensive place and it looked really good! Not far at all/10 min from town and only 20 minutes to Jekyll Island!!? It was not perfect but, NICE & had alot of space, full kitchen w/laundry!.. Sooo comfortable w/everything you NEED. We loved the cozy soft leather couch & chair w/extra pillows in the closets. The beds werent real comfy for us so we just doubled the mattresses and it was soo amazing! With it being a duplex we were surprised that we didnt hear our neighbors at all! The neighborhood was good & quiet...go through the nicer main entrance though for straight shot to the house... And OMG the restaurant selection is soo good especially Drunken Noodle Asian Restaurant (Amazing FOOD 5*). We sure loved the French Quarter Southern Bar and Grill as well! Amazing seafood and Tons of games to play too right in town! Side note:I didnt realize the charge on my card was the vrbo charge because it came in as a management company name w/adifferent amount than my total fee for my VRBO & I reported as fraud then cancelled it minutes later when I finally put the puzzle together. It caused issues w/them getting paid on time. Roxie was so professional, patient and understanding. Great host!

The place could be very nice, but the bathrooms weren’t updated, nor the kitchen. The place needed thousands of dollars of updating. The location was convenient. The units were formally navy housing, sold by the navy after 9/11. The neighborhood looks junky because there is no place to hide the garbage cans and trash is lying around ie an old tire, broken outdoor chair, and other fast food litter. The rental company was responsive when we told them there were no dishes, glasses, and the dishwasher didn’t work. We spent little time in the place and enjoyed our trip.
