Definitely didnt read the reviews to understand that the owners live in the actual house... its more of a duplex with renters living in the larger portion. I love plants and they have a lot!!! Pet friendly... my fur baby was truly enjoying the exploration of the property. We did not let him go to the dock. They have a dog... so he was able to roam the backyard/deck area!!!

Overall, a good experience. Owners were not there/on site at all during our 6 night stay. Outdoor setting and property is beautiful and quiet. We loved the plants and flowering bushes. Inside living/sleeping area a bit less desirable (furniture/bedding, etc.). I overlooked the listing does not have a washer/dryer.

Gorgeous outdoor area right on alafia river. The property was wonderful. Our dog was with us no issues. Well located near shopping and the Tiki Docks restaurant is right up the road. The owners are in a sectioned off part of the house. They are very friendly and non-intrusive. Beautiful landscaping. Bring binoculars you can see owls,alligators,turtles,fish and tons of birds.

Lovely, peaceful river retreat. Plenty of room, inside and out. Owners being on site was a new experience for us. Very friendly and not intrusive at all. Landscaping will be spectacular in the spring. Highly recommend!
