Everything was spot on. We loved staying here. It’s easy to walk to all the attractions from the apartment. Our host, Irene, communicated with me clearly and was friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely stay here again when we come back to Firenze.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in this marvelous apartment for 13 days. The apartment had everything we need it was like a home away from home. The location was perfect and waking up looking at the Duomo with the sound of the bells was like heaven.
Words cannot describe how amazing human beings the owners Irene and Salvatore are. We are very lucky to have found this apartment. Thank you so much Irene and Salvatore.

This apartment is dead smack in the heart of Florence. Beautiful views of the The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore dome (Duomo). Walking distance to all the major attractions and train station.
The owners, Salvatorre and Irene were very responsive to our messages. Salvatore met us at the property when we arrived even though we got there past 10 pm.
The owners left us some yogurt and milk inside the ref. The property was properly stocked with kitchen wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies.
The rooms were clean and spacious.
Just like everyone mentioned, you’ll get used to the flight of stairs.

The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The host provided a few essentials for us as we arrived a bit late. Irene was very responsive and helpful. The location of the apartment was amazing. There are many stairs and getting our luggage to and from was a bit difficult but worth it for the experience. Going in and out of the apartment was pretty effortless once we didn’t have luggage to contend with.

This was a wonderful apartment. We loved the proximity to the Duomo and the historical part of town. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The only thing to note is that if you have difficulty walking up steps, this may not be for you. But if you are able, this place is one in a million.

The view matches the comfort of the apartment. Having two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms makes this a perfect place for 2 couples or a family of four. The location is fantastic with good restaurants literally steps from the door. The steps to the apartment help burn off the pasta! Irene is a super host and easy to communicate with. We hope to return again soon.

Irene’s husband met us at the apartment when we arrived to show us around and give us a quick rundown on places to go and things to do. His recommendations were excellent, as we tried several. And the apartment was clean and very quiet when the windows were closed at night. Comfy beds too. Close to everything! By day 2, we were used to all the steps. Well worth the climb! We loved Florence and hope to visit again one day. Would definitely stay here again too. Thank you so much Irene and Salvatore!

This apartment home was fantastic!!! A perfect walking distance to all the sights we wanted to see in Florence. The view is spectacular! Loved waking to the sounds of the Duomo’s bells every morning (they don’t ring until 7am, quiet all night). The apartment is spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable and having the kitchen saved lots of time and money, The only drawback is the five flights of stairs but that is a small price to pay for the view. I would highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Irene and Salvatore for sharing this beautiful home with us.

Amazing view from the windows of the Florence Cathedral. The apartment is very open and spacious, nice bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers- this was great since there were 4 of us. Our hostess was amazing- helped us reserve a taxi for an early departure. We will definitely come back and stay!!

Irene was amazing. She was so communicative the whole time. My plane to Italy had mechanical issues and I ended up missing my connection and being very delayed. Irene and her husband met my older mom at the VRBO and helped her get her bags upstairs, her phone connected to the wifi, and showed her restaurants and places nearby on a map. The location is near everything. You have a great view and short walks to all the main attractions (~10 minutes). The apartment was very clean and exactly like the photos. As mentioned it is up 4 flights of stairs, so I would avoid bring heavy roller bags. I would absolutely recommend Irene's place to everyone.

We have stayed in really great apartments all around the city over the past 30 years, usually traveling with our son and sometimes with friends, too. This time it was just my husband and I, but when I stumbled upon the listing for the Cupola apartment, we thought it looked perfect. The central location was extremely convenient, the hosts were quick to communicate, and we had plenty of space to spread out and work when necessary. Most importantly, this central spot was remarkably SILENT at night. We have heard motorini, drunk tourists, and general chaos in other parts of the city. Ironically, the Cupola was the most quiet of all. It was magical to wake to the sounds of the bells every morning. It was convenient to pop "home" late afternoon to freshen up before heading out for an aperitivo. The wifi worked well for email, but phone calls were more challenging. Video calls were unsuccessful, but the one bedroom - the first one as one enters the apartment - was fine for brief audio calls. My husband had difficulty communicating with clients, so connectivity was really the only down side to our stay. Salvatore and Irene were great hosts who offered abundant recommendations.
I highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Firenze.

Our property stay was fantastic. The property has everything you need. Especially if you do not want to eat out every night. Salvatore meet us at the apartment, and his introduction to Florence was magnificent. He is right, every major attraction is within 10 to 15 minute walk. Perfect for us. Went out, came back and rested. Went out again. There is no lift, but after a few days the four flights of stairs were a breeze.

Irene's apartment was very well furnished and comfortable. A terrific location close to everthing. To be any closer to the Duomo we would have to sleep in the bell tower. She is friendly, she met us at the apartment, spoke english very well and was a very caring and responsive host too. Hot water went out for a little while and she rushed over on her bike and fixed it herself! She made sure we had some small breakfast items for our first morning after traveling to get there. I highly recommend her apartment, but bring small luggage as she honestly says in her listing....It is a great apartment on the 5th floor with no elevator. I would stay there again...No problem. Grazie mille Irene.

Perfect 2br/2ba Florence apt with amazing views
First, communication with Irene was fast, clear, and easy. She made the whole process a pleasure. The apartment is exactly as she describes - a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment only a block from the Duomo. The place was immaculately clean, and cooking and cleaning essentials were provided (salt/pepper, oil, sugar, coffee in kitchen and cleaning supplies). They also provided juice, milk, butter, yogurt and biscuits which was so considerate. Salvatore welcomed us and provided maps and restaurant suggestions - all wonderful - especially Trattoria Benevenuto and Gelateria del Neri. I have only great things to say. Note that it is a 4 flight walk-up - no elevator. It was not a problem for us - it was essential for the great views! Thank you to Irene and Salvatore for enabling this stay. We will recommend to friends.

Perfect in every way
Our family of three spent 5 days in Florence just before the Christmas holidays and this was the perfect apartment from which to explore the city. It is ideally situated and easy walking distance to museums, restaurants and everything else Florence has to offer. When we arrived, Salvatore was there to greet us and provided us with all the information and advice we would need to have a great stay in Florence. We found the apartment to be spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable and Salvatore and Irene had stocked the fridge with a few provisions to get us started. The apartment was very quiet and the view of the duomo was as impressive as advertised. This was definitely one our best apartment rental experiences and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Perfect location! - Great experience!
We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment which was really close to the Duomo and surrounding restaurants Everything was a short walk from this apartment including the train station and the Ponte Vecchio. Irene and her husband Salvatore were amazing and responded timely with the many questions that we had. I would highly recommend this apartment as it was in a perfect location for our visit to Florence. Thank you Irene for always being their for us. Ciao for now!

The Coolest Place in Florence (Literally)
A wonderfully cool place to stay in the heart of Florence. Our family of five enjoyed seven days together at La Cupola, using it as a place to cool off in the afternoons when the heat wave outside (and inside most museums and shops) was just too much to handle. Not a lot of places have air conditioning, in Florence, but La Cupola does, and it was much needed on the seven, over 100 degree days of our trip. The washing machine and clothes drying rack were welcomed amenities, too. - We had plenty of space to spread out and relax and also come together at the kitchen table to eat breakfast in the mornings and play games/talk in the afternoons. - The view of The Dome was amazing- When four of us climbed to the top and one of us stayed in the apartment, we waved to each other. It’s that close! -Communication with Irene was easy, friendly, and timely. We enjoyed meeting her friend Eleonora on check-in and her husband on check out. The evening before our early morning departure, Irene reserved a taxi for us and we got to the airport with ease. If we’re ever back in Florence, we will reserve La Cupola, again.

Great location, comfortable apartment
The apartment was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. Great AC for hot July nights. Kitchen had all the necessities and Irene stocked the fridge with breakfast essentials for our first morning. She was very helpful and responsive. The location couldn’t be better and the 80 something step walk up was no big deal.

This was such a gem. When you're making plans in an area you've never visited, it can be hard to know what you're getting until you arrive. Irene and her husband were wonderful hosts and the apartment is just as described. It's incredible that it could be so close to everything and yet a the end of the day, when we went back to the apartment, it was so quiet. We would definately stay here again - it was perfect!

Well maintained Duomo apartment close to the main train station which made it easy to visit Pisa and local attractions. Appreciated the quick responses and helpful information from Irene, the host, who had juice, milk, water and cookies when we checked in. Irene made sure we felt at home.

Great apartment
We Were met by Salvatore, he showed us around and gave us loads of information about the area which was great. Irene was great for communication also, anything we needed she would always help straight away. The view from the property is amazing, at the evening times you can see the duomo with all the lights looks amazing. I really recommend this property, right in the heart of Florence.

You can't complain about the view from this rooftop apartment lovated in the heart of Florence! It was a great location in walking distance to all the sites.
Irene was a gracious hostess who answered all our questions about this property, as well as provided a very detailed book of favorite restaurants, things to do, etc. She was responsive to our questions during our stay, which was so helpful!
The apartment was charming (with the prettiest tiling in one of the bathrooms) and comfortable for our family of 5. It was great to have a washer, and place to hang our clothes to dry outside the quaint window.
We highly recommend this property, but if you're going to stay here, make sure you can carry your luggage up 8 flights of stairs. There is no elevator. This did not bother us, as we appreciated the extra exercise after eating so much delicious food!

Great location right in the heart of town!
Wondering unit right in the heart of town. The unit had everything we needed, and the owner left a few items in the unit as a welcome gift (cookies, drinks, etc.). You can walk pretty much anywhere in Florence from here, as it is very centrally located (just one street from the Duomo). There are quite a few stairs to climb to get to the unit, but that just helped offset the copious amounts of pasta we ate while in Florence! Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location; even better personal care!
My husband and I stayed at La Cupola with another couple for 5 nights. Irene met us and took time to show us the whole apartment, explain amenities and appliances, and give us quality recommendations around the area. She had a few snacks and drinks in the fridge for us on arrival and even gave us a bottle of champagne (we were celebrating an anniversary). She was prompt in responding to us and even arranged a taxi for one of our activities the following day. The apartment was spacious, well-located, very clean, well-stocked, and the views were STUNNING! We had an unforgettable time in Florence, partly due to Irene’s excellent rental and attention to detail. We will definitely encourage our friends to stay here and would gladly return on our next trip to Florence.

Great apartment, great view, comfortable beds
We loved staying here. Irene and Salvetore were kind and gracious-- they knew we were arriving after 24 hours of travel and had yogurt, milk, juice and coffee stocked for the first morning.
The apartment had everything we needed to cook; everything was clean and fresh, the beds were comfortable. The space is bright and cozy.
The stairs made us breathless the first couple of times up, but we soon adjusted.
I highly recommend to everyone except people who can't walk 82 steps up to the apartment. The view from the windows once you reach the apartment are magical and can't be beat.
It was a delightful place to spend a week.

Best location!
You could not ask for a better place to stay than La Cupola. The owner's husband checked us in and gave us lots of advice regarding restaurants and activities. There was abulous restaurant, Coquinarius, two doors down and a gelato place across the street! The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Everything was in walking distance! Would definitely stay again.

Stunning apartment
This is a great apartment and worth the 92 steps for the view across the roof tops to the Duomo. Two good bedrooms and lovely bathrooms. If there is a complaint it is a lack of shelving in the bathrooms and one bedroom had limited storage apart from hanging.
But that didn’t detract from being in such a central position. I would stay there again.

Five of us recently stayed at this apartment for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. It’s ideal location is worth everything. You’re literally a couple minutes away from the Duomo and center of old town. The whole place is spotless, the beds were very comfortable, nice kitchen and showers. Like other posts mentioned you should know that it’s on the 4th floor with no lifts. For us, it was not an issue even with a lot of luggage. We didn’t even notice them after the first day. I can imagine it could be for you if you’re not physically capable. I highly recommend Irene’s place and would definitely return on our next visit to au CJ a special city of Florence!

Wonderful apartment.
Apartment location was premium. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. A/C worked well. Management was flexible and supportive. I will stay here again when I return to Florence.
