Hotel de Slapende Hollander - Economy

So close to Efteling and local shops and bakeries

The only thing was that they don’t have their own restaurant but we knew this in advance so not an issue

This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, the room was amazing and clean with lots of light. They do not have bag storage because it dose not have staff on at all times. They were able to let me know Efftling park. had easy affordable bag storage. Efftling park is a very close walk to this hotel.

We liked everything

Great location for Efteling and in the village shops and cafes nice and people friendly

Extremely close to Efteling.

It was insanely hot in the room. There was a fan but it was mounted high up on the wall so we couldn’t feel a thing. The windows opened but instead of having high opening windows, which you would have assumed would be the case given it was a family room with bunk beds, they opened at waist height. A child could easily fall out of the window, it was so dangerous we couldn’t have them open. Therefore we had approximately no sleep. It was also quite dilapidated, there was paint peeling off in our room.
