Winarouze House

The location and the staff. Hanan was fabulous

Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Buona colazione e buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Stanza che necessita di qualche intervento di manutenzione (comodino spelato gancio appendiabiti staccato dal muro macchie umidità in bagno)

Hotel management was always open to accommodate any requests and we had a good communication the whole time. Luckily, there was no unpleasant smell in the room, as some previous guests have described. The breakfast was excellent and was cooked by the staff even though it was during Ramadan. Many thanks to the wonderful people!

The towels were extremely small (face towels) and the bedsheets did not smell fresh.

The location was excellent, only around a 15-minute walk from the main square. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast: it was abundant, fresh, and offered a great variety, including eggs, pancakes, roti, yogurt, jam, tea and milk. The terrace had a beautiful view, which made breakfast a really enjoyable experience. The host also tried to help and resolve the issues we raised

Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues with the preparation and maintenance of the rooms. We booked four rooms several hours in advance, but some rooms were missing towels, and my room did not even have a key because the previous guest had apparently taken it. There was also no hot water, and the Wi-Fi was not working, which was particularly inconvenient for us travelling from overseas. Some basic maintenance is also needed, including a leaking sink tap and a light that was not working in my room. The host did try to help when we reported these problems, but as we were travelling as a group of six, having to deal with several issues during the stay was quite frustrating. The property has a lot of potential, but it would benefit from better organisation, more thorough room checks before guests arrive, and some investment in maintenance.
