Great location . Friendly lovely place . Food was ok not the best . Wished the pool was warmer .

The Westward Look boasts stunning grounds with ample walking paths, and the pools and amenities look inviting. However, our room situation was frustrating. Despite booking a king room, we encountered two rooms with beds that sloped significantly higher at the foot and dipped in the middle. After requesting changes twice, we finally received a room with comfortable full-size beds, although not our original preference. The property itself appears a bit worn and could benefit from renovations.

Great Staff! Room and Views were incredible! Will be staying here again!

The resort is always gorgeous and in bloom and everyone is so helpful. The pool was warm! We were disappointed in the condition of the shower in our suite ss the drain was slow and door would not stay shut.

We had made a reservation at the Tuxon Hotel under the impression that it was a chic boutique hotel in the mountains but upon arrival discovered it had been falsely advertised and was nothing more than a roadside motel adjacent to the freeway in a sketchy neighborhood.
After immediately canceling our reservation we were scrambling to find a place to stay for the two nights were planning to be in Tucson. We did a Google search and came upon the Westward Look Wyndham Resort. We drove over and as soon as we pulled in, felt the peace of mind of knowing that we were in a much safer and more pleasant part of town.
The front desk employee was extremely helpful in helping us book a last minute reservation and even waived the resort fee after hearing about our situation with the Tuxon. The resort was beautiful. We had a room near the pool with an amazing mountain view. The suite was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable for sleeping, but that’s often the case when traveling and the rest of our experience there made up for it.
The location is great…close to many fun restaurants (we highly recommend Charrovida) and a Whole Foods. The pools were lovely. Very quiet and relaxing. There is an amazing hike on the Linda Vista trail, just miles from the resort.
We are so happy we ended up at Westward Look and wish we could have stayed another day or two. It’s everything we were looking for and more. Highly recommend!!!

Loved the resort and the food! The only concern was the condition of the outlying areas, like the volleyball courts, and the need for landscaping in some areas.

Beautiful property. Lots of pools and hot tubs to choose from. Balconies had great view of sunrise.

Fairly outdated hotel. Kind of lost its luster.

I have stayed here several times and enjoy the hotel and facilities every time.

I've been here quite frequently lately and the restaurant is very inconsistent. some great innovative dishes, then a surf and turf with great smoky shrimp served with the most grizzily piece of beef I have ever had - the dogs loved it though. The service is spotty, the host snooty, and in general failed to make money because I couldn't get a second drink. Also with a room full of sports fans, we had to rely upon a guest's prime membership to watch the game. Really? On a slow night, I still couldn't get proper attention at my table. Sad for a lovely venue.

All of the above, one of the best place I have stayed.

This is my second stay at the property and am still very happy with the experience. This second room was a bit more….run down? Carpet seemed dirty, tile missing, much smaller shower… but still a nice room and loved the amenities!

This was a nice property in Tucson. Loved the suite.

Beautiful property, very well maintained. The interior is a little dated and the patio door did not open smoothly at all.

The jacuzzi wouldn’t get hotter than 94° which is a shame because that’s why we reserved our room there.

My in-laws stayed for a week at Christmas. They were happy with the gym and other amenities. The breakfast menu was the only disappointment.

I made a note clearly that my BF was in a wheel chair, was advised that no matter what the room was still easily accessible upon check in. Was not easy, had stairs going down, and the wheel chair did not fit through the doorway, and that was supposed to be the "upgraded room". Not wheel chair / accessible friendly at all. There were rooms that looked so easy to access, if someone would said hey pay this XX you will get an easy accessible room, then no problem I would of paid in a heart beat. I think your front desk from my notes and discussion should of done a better job of making sure we were accommodated. In previous hotel stays Ive gotten calls the day before to check in about my exact needs, at check in they discuss what was good and what wasnt, not of the sort came from your staff even after I brought it up to make sure it was easy. They just said everythings easy. Well Id like to see you access them in a wheel chair.

We had a very relaxing stay at Westward look. There were very few other guests during our stay and we were able to enjoy the resorts pools and amenities at our leisure. We ate at the Lookout restaurant twice for dinner and both meals were excellent. The Gold restaurant is unfortunately permanently closed, but Lookout left us wanting for nothing. The food was more elevated than typical pub fare with a Southwest/ Tucson twist. I had the ribs one night and the hemp tamales the next. Both were excellent.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a “Desert” view suite, which did not look out into the surrounding desert, but towards the internal gardens. Next time I will opt for a Scenic view suite and hope for a better view — a minor knock on an otherwise great stay.

It was all wonderful, service at the restaurant was slow

The hotel wasn't crowded so we had the run of the property. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The main restaurant was closed and the bar restaurant food was not very good.

Room was not cleaned properly. Dusty, air filters dirty. No microwave, did not tell you of the "incidentals charge" till my ccard was declined, because they added another $100 Ti the price of the room. I have never been summarily charged anything extra on the assumption that i would break something in the room.

Truly enjoyed our stay at Westward Look resort! The rooms were comfortable and clean. Pools were convenient and heated. Staff and food at The LookoutBar and Grille was great. Special shout out to Cassandra at Monsoon Cafe who was so helpful and kind with the bagels and hot chocolate. And enjoyed and appreciated the interaction with Rosa out on the grounds. Easy to remember why we should be so grateful for our veterans that continue to give their all.
Can't forget to mention the icing on the cake when our family loved our trail ride with Rose. She knows how to pick the perfect horse for the ride, gives the riding lesson to make you safe and comfortable, and makes sure everyone enjoys!
I look forward to returning

The property is quiet and tranquil, and landscaping beautiful.
The bedding and pillows were very plush. The food and drink menu was good and some items expensive. It was nice having the option to horseback on the property. The staff was courteous and accomodating.

Wish we had taken a picture!!! Tape coming down from a bad ceiling repair. TV did not work. Electric outlets in dressing area and bath area did not work. Had to carry heavy tray w / coffee maker in to the living area and go under a table to plug it in. I’m not above plugging in an appliance. But when your staying at a property you’ve stayed at before, although years ago a shame they can’t proved everyone with a comfortable quiet sleep. Speaking of which the people above us were so loud walking around at 5:30 am. Need more floor insulation and need to get some more lipstick on that pig. Sighhhh resort fee refund was not enough to keep me quiet. Truly a disappointing stay at a one time wonderful place to stay.

The property was great, and the room was comfortable, but we were disappointed with the service. Check in took a while because the front desk was distracted with another issue. Our room was aways from the lobby and we were told the bell hop could give us a ride, but when we called it was an hour long wait, so we had to walk uphill in heels. Then at the restaurant the service was extremely slow despite there only being a few tables. The in-room service also took an hour, but the associate was very nice.

Location was great. We stayed in a casita that said was newly renovated I believe in 2021.

We were put in an assessable unit which we didn't need. The room was comfortable enough but the light from the thermometer was shining directly in the eyes while in bed. Also all the lights out in the parking lot stay on all night understand why but could they be dimmed? The shower was huge for wheelchair access but for those who don't need it or are helping in the shower the floor tile is really slippery and an accident waiting to happen. This needs to be fixed immediately.
