Stay was average. Front desk staff should not be in the hospitality business. He must have been having a bad day. Breakfast was average to poor.

This place is an excellent stay in Joplin. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was very good. Very clean all the way around. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.

Rolled in around 8:30pm for a overnight while on the road. TV did not work.No answer at front desk phone for ten minutes. Desk guy said to "reboot' it, which did not work. The Desk guy had to come up and mess with the cables behind the tv for about 20 minutes. At least he did that. While waiting to get a printed receipt the desk clerk answered the telephone, virtually abandoning my task, while her counterpart sat on a stool, had ear buds in and texted on her phone. The staff wear sweats and whatever they want, apparently...not even name tags. Unprofessional. I'm not saying they have to wear suits, but jeez, not your yard work clothes either. Her time was more important then ours. At the breakfast they allow homeless people to come in and partake in the "free" breakfast. You could tell by them looking over their shoulder and wreaking of campfire smoke. Room was clean. But, hallway ceiling was NOT good in many areas. Looked ruff.

This place was great, enjoyed our stay. Especially the hot breakfast that was served. To top it off, they used real eggs, not the powdered stuff all of others use.

Nice hotel, rooms and facilities clean mostly quiet.. lots of walking, I have a bad knee, but they would not change my reservation because they said it went through Travelocity , I thought is was hotels.com. Won’t make that mistake again. Overall I will stay again if I can get a room closer to front. Restaurant food was awful. I threw it in the trash. That’s 20 bucks I will never see again lol. Free breakfast was really nice, good options and friendly people,

The place is ok, and good enough if you’re desperate. The hallway to the room had debris from possibly construction and had dry wall material on the floor. The room had what looked like poop smeared on the carpet. In the bathroom had a hole in the wall from the door knob. The free breakfast was pathetic. There was a few bagels, rock hard butter and 1 single packet of instant oatmeal.

I booked for a suite and I get there and the suite was booked so I had to have a room with three beds. Was not given a discount for their mistake and the room we found 2 bed bugs.

Our stay here was only one night but the first time I have ever wished I could find an excuse to return for longer! The facility was amazing - beautiful, spacious, fire places going, wonderful room, and an amazing free breakfast. The staff was so friendly and efficient. Huge shout out to the breakfast staff, they were so on top of it. Hot, fresh, well prepared and attractively presented variety of foods. And you must have the most polite, detail oriented housekeeping staff. Everything was perfect. It was my best hotel experience ever!

Large hotel. Excellent customer service, clean, surprisingly “upscale”. Comfortable bed, great shower/bathroom. Breakfast was best we’ve had in a long time (hotel) You can watch the chef-cook make the scrambled eggs on the cooktop. Sausages, egg toppings, biscuits, gravy, fresh fruit, bread/rolls, waffles, cold cereal. For the money, exceptional.

I have no complaints about this particular LaQuinta. Usually there’s something about a hotel that bumps it off from a perfect score, but in this case there isn’t.

Everything was great! The larger room with a separate bedroom was great for our family. Was disappointed with Old Chicago though. We arrived later in the evening, and walked down to the bar at 11pm, and they told us they had just closed when it said they were open until midnight.

Convenient but lots of road noise.
La Quinta claims to be very pet friendly but there were no dog waste stations and no outside receptacles to put waste in.

The room was cute but the long hallway on the ground floor smelled of marijuana smoke and woke up to cigarette smell in my room in the morning. I checked out after one night and checked into a different hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful though.

La Quinta nailed it w this property. Great location and awesome daily breakfast.
We were there in frigid weather so we scored w the great pizza joint that is attached. Great menu, nice place- and don’t hv to step outside.

The hotel was newly remodeled and the staff was great. The attached restaurant was a plus. I stayed during the winter and did not have to go out into the cold for meals.

The property didn’t match the advertisement. And this is rare with Expedia! I paid extra to have a kingsize bed and a walk in shower and they did not have that. The shower door did not closed!! And it was not very clean. Very disappointed.

Hardwood floors throughout room - highly clean. Both outdoor & indoor swimming pools/hot tubs. Breakfast was freshly made (eggs) at griddle you could see the preparation being made. Dogs stayed free - no additional surcharge. Easy on/off access to interstate system. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. Wife said may have been the best La Quinta Inn we have stayed at.

The building looked like it had some good updates. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the HBO channels.

Have stayed at this LaQuinta several times - perfect mid-trip stop between Chicago & Dallas, and no pet fee, nice outdoor courtyard area, attached restaurant = great hotel for our needs & will continue to stay on the repeat.

The staff was so friendly, huge yummy breakfast choices, clean rooms, two hot tubs and indoor pool and a restaurant/bar attached to hotel. Ample parking and easy access to lots of restaurants and shopping. One of the best places we have stayed
