Excellent renovation of a small cottage, in a hamlet by the sea. Perfect for two people. We were in the area for a wedding. Wish we could have stayed longer, just to enjoy the cottage a bit more.

This property is wonderful! The remodel was done with great thought, attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. The decor is like being in a luxury resort and the ocean views are wonderful! There was a great fenced area for our dogs and several nice outdoor spaces to enjoy the beach views and a glass of wine. The beach was a short walk away and being that it was mid week and mid September, it felt like we almost had the beach to ourselves. We will be back for sure!

Staying here felt like we were in a home designed by Chip & Joanna of HG TV fame. Everything had been thoughtfully designed for comfort. Beautifully styled pillows and throws and bedding. Our only regret was we basically only slept here since it was our daughter’s wedding weekend. Would love to return again!

It was a perfect place for my little family. My husband and I with our two dogs had some relaxing time at this lovely cottage. Very clean and quiet, and 3 minutes walk to Dillon beach. Love everything about this place. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

We had a great time at Dillon Beach! It was a very short distance from the beach. My wife and I took our two dogs and took 2 mile walks on the beach. My dogs loved the beach! Bring all your food with you but if you forget something there is a small market and a restaurant open on certain times. The BBQ was gas hooked to propane to the house. It worked well.

There is nothing like Dillon Beach. The house was just lovely and immaculate. It had everything one needs for a stay at the beach.

House was very clean and comfortable. The window seat was a great view of the ocean. Our dogs liked the yard and was great because of the gate. Fun times

We had such a great time there with our dog Daisy🐶 The cottage has everything that you need and is so close to the beach. We sat outside in the morning on the patio and drank our coffee. In the evening we BBQ’d and watched the beautiful sunset. We will be back❤️

What a beautiful area and bungalow! The views were great, the area is quiet, & it's an easy walk to the beach. Just perfect for the two of us & our small dog. There are three outdoor seating areas...one up (right at the front door and was our favorite) & two down. Grill/dining seating off the back porch/kitchen area with a small fenced yard. In front seating includes a fire pit...bring fire logs!. The kitchen has all the things including sharps & wine glasses. The host even includes some small niceties in the bathrooms like tooth flossers and Q-tips! The bed is soft and for us was comfortable. There is a half-bath off the room. We loved it and will be back!

Dillon Beach is a favorite spot of ours. We loved the cottage and will definitely return in the summer. Unfortunately, the fireplace wasn't working but were informed in advance and managed to keep cozy. Awesome location, close to the beach!

Initially, we had a pretty rough start to our stay. The lock box would not work and I had to dig my computer out to look up some way that we could contact someone to get us in. Once we found the contact information, someone was sent over quickly with a key. But then, the propane fireplace was not working. It is the only heat in the house, except for a small wall heater in the bathroom. We had to use an electric space heater, which worked OK as the house is small, but not the pleasant amenity that the fireplace would have been. Once all of that was straightened out, the house was perfect for my husband and I. It's easy walking distance to the beach. The house is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well stocked for any cooking needs, including sharp knives, which I find lacking in most vacation rentals. The neighborhood is quiet and people were quite friendly, so it was a pleasant experience. At the end, we left a few belongings behind and the owner promptly returned them to us thankfully! Overall I recommend this for a nice vacation stay, just make sure that you have contact information available in case you can't get in!

We loved our stay at this cozy, comfortable cottage! From the gorgeous views from all the main living areas, to the well-stocked kitchen, the proximity to the beach, and the comfy bed, our little family thoroughly enjoyed our getaway (and our dog was thrilled she got to come along). We only wish we’d had more time, but anticipate we’ll be back!

My best friend and I had the most amazing stay at this property! Perfect size for 2-3 people, a bohemian chic design aesthetic to the space, gorgeous views of the ocean, walking distance from the beach. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Love the beach in the winter. This bungalow was perfect for a quiet solitary week to rejuvenate and start the new year. The property is cozy and just what was described. I highly recommend and will be back!!

This little place is truly a gem. It has a view of the ocean, a lovely living space, and it is in the village. It is close to beach and store. We were not able to use the outdoor space because it pretty much rained the whole time, but we still enjoyed our stay. All it needs is a hot tub 😊 . We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely! Beautifully appointed, warm and cozy cottage. The kitchen, in particular, was extremely well stocked. I've been staying in the Dillon Beach community several times a year for decades and this is, by far, one of the nicest places I've stayed. The host was particularly welcoming and responsive. I highly recommend 78 Ocean View and look forward to future stays!

From the moment we pulled into the area and entered the house, this house was so much more than anticipated. From the amazing design touches, views, and the steps to the beach were lovely. My husband and I were celebrating birthdays and we just didn’t want to leave.

This property makes you feel as though you are living in a magazine spread. The cottage is cozy, newly renovated, with high end finishes and kitchen accessories. I loved sitting in the window seat and on the front porch reading, listening to the waves, watching the surfers, and relaxing. The beach is a short walk either down the hill at the end of the street or down the road if you’d rather not hike. This was the perfect weekend get away and the host made us feel welcome as if we were a member of the family. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous property with us!
