Great location for us visiting friends in Eaglescliff.Every thing and more than you can possibly need is provided in the Elms.Very good communication from the owner, even got in touch when it snowed to check we were ok and warm enough. We will definitely see if it's available next time we need to be in the area.

We loved the cottage however it wasn’t cleaned to a very good standard. We found someone else’s underwear in the drawers, opened food in the freezer and dirt in the bath on the first day. Cottage was well situated in the village and easily accessible. Local pubs were closed on Monday and Tuesday so not ideal if you want to eat out on these nights. We walked to one pub on the Wednesday to have dinner however we were not greeted in a friendly manner which put us off. We had one drink and left. I ordered a coffee which the lady said would be brought to my table, after waiting 20 mins I asked where my coffee was and she said she had forgot. I was then handed an instant coffee which I could have made myself. Very well situated to visit local towns. A lovely cottage but could have been a better holiday if it was cleaner and friendlier people in the local pubs.

Great wee cottage set centrally in a quiet village. Local pubs both dog friendly. Recommend
