Laucestonの町からも近く、ここを拠点にDevonやCornwallの観光地に行くのに便利な場所だと思う。広さのわりにお値段もお得感がある。 キッチンには食器、洗剤、ふきん、ラップ、コーヒー、紅茶、若干の調味料等そろっていた。特別な料理を作るのでなければ用意されているもので滞在中は充分だと思う。 わたしたちは夜にお風呂にはいるので、残念ながら（洗濯や洗い物のせいで）バスタブのお湯は水になっていまい、毎日シャワーだけで過ごした。シャワーは瞬間湯沸かし器タイプなので全く問題なくたっぷり使うことができた。 敷地内には住民以外（すなわちほとんど無し）の車の出入りがないので、静かで安心して散策等が楽しめる。チェックイン時にオーナーのTrudiさんの手作りスコーン、ジャム、牛乳、そして地元のクロッテッドクリームがサービスされた。 私はいままでロンドン、コッツウォルズ、パリ、東京等の有名無名の店でスコーンを食べてきたが、間違いなく彼女の作ったスコーンが人生の中で一番おいしかった！ スコーンのためだけでもまた行きたい。 敷地には池やwoodsがあり、犬を連れてこれたら楽しいだろうなと思った。日本在住なので絶対に無理なのが悲しい。 It is located close to the town of Launceston, making it a convenient base for visiting tourist spots in Devon and Cornwall. Considering the amount of space, it offers great value for money. The kitchen was well-stocked with tableware, dish soap, kitchen towels, plastic wrap, coffee, tea, and a selection of basic seasonings. Unless you plan on preparing elaborate meals, the provided items are more than sufficient for your stay. Since we prefer taking baths in the evening, we unfortunately found that the hot water would run out—likely due to other uses like laundry or washing dishes—so we ended up relying on the shower every day. The shower uses an on-demand water heater, so we had no issues at all and could use as much hot water as we needed. The property is free from outside traffic (as there are virtually no visitors), making it a quiet and safe environment for activities like taking a stroll. Upon check-in, the owner, Trudi, provided us with homemade scones, jam, milk, and some local clotted cream. I have eaten scones at many places—from famous establishments to lesser-known spots in London, the Cotswolds, Paris, and Tokyo—but without a doubt, the ones Trudi made were the best I have ever had in my life! I would return just for the scones alone. The grounds include a pond and some woods; it would be wonderful to bring a dog along. It’s a shame that’s not an option for us, as we live in Japan.

It was spacious enough for 4 adults n the dogs, loved the conservatory and the private patio and little reading nook ( but we didn’t get to use it because to busy visiting lovely places) the grounds are beautiful and a lovely lake to walk around, the host Trudi n Sam were wonderful very welcoming and lovely homemade scones and jam with a bottle of wine on arrival, it was so well equipped from toilet roll to dishwashing and washing machine tablets and all the little things like sandwich bags, tin foil, cling film even baking paper, tea bags, coffee, sugar we were amazed how well equipped it was, best ever 😊and nothing was too much trouble, I would definitely stay again 😊

It’s not that I didn’t like but the shower needs an upgrade and this is something they’re looking into

Sam and Trudy were fantastic hosts. very helpful and welcoming. the welcome pack was much appreciated. location was good and the Wagon House warm and comfortable. Will stay again
