Mercian was such a beautiful apt! We arrived late morning and were so glad to be able to check in immediately. The apt was bathed in soft natural light the space was perfect for three of us each room comes with an attached bathroom, one with a tub, one with a standing shower. I was especially in love with the well equipped kitchen and a huuuge workspace. Came with microwave oven and built in oven, and dishwasher all worked well. Full size fridge and a huge freezer space. We made full use of every one of them (and restored it nice and clean). Jai assisted us whenever we needed help, always a msg away - extra bath mats and laundry pods, canned water and kitchen consumables no problem! While she couldn't accede to our request for a late check out, Jai was kind enough to let us have the room till late morning which still worked well for us. Appreciate Jai and the team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to provide such lovely cosy home away from home for us. We visited the gym and recreational area on the third floor. A huge space to relax but unfortunately we didn't get to use much of these facilities this round. Managed to make use of the Omron body composite scanner in the gym and had a great time chatting with some other guests that day. Sainsbury's and Tesco Express were just opposite the road, although we couldn't access them easily due to the faulty glass door and always have to make a huge detour to get to them. Plse fix it soon.

Staff at the long front desk wasn't hired with check in/out matters. Not sure what their roles were, but we (and some other guests) were redirected to online staff (who is prob jai and her team) the day we checked in, and the day we checked out. Also the key nest didn't work when we tried to do a self check out (after being directed by the front desk) and after consulting Jai online, we were being directed back to the front desk to hand over our key fobs. Might want to rethink the roles again for a more pleasant experience for the guests.

Lovely apartment, very clean

The customer service was fantastic, especially from Gem. The team was super responsive and quickly sorted out a few missing items for us, like delivering a desk and an extra dining chair the very next day. Great communication throughout the stay. Being so central and having a car parking was also great.

A few maintenance hiccups but they were resolved by the staff.
