The staff was prompt & courteous. That’s about all we liked about any part of this place.
We paid a week in advance non-refundable and left after one night to find another hotel. The building appeared to be a low rent tenement housing. Old men in baggy underwear were sitting out front getting their sun. I will say it was clean and no evidence of bugs. THERE IS NO A/C even though it said there was. Windows do open with no screens & they do provide what looks like a 1960 era small fan. The place was clean & there was no issue the only night we stayed. The bed was comfortable but that’s it. When we left the next day even the taxi driver looked at us and said “You don’t belong here!”

The apartment was calm despite so many ppl living in the building; it was close to the river and the train station; the apartment was clean

The owner was very accommodating And let us borrow a pass to park on the street overnight and in the morning. Apartment is well located, a 15 minute walk to the train station and to the old town. Near to an Aldi‘s and near the funicular to the old town.
there were no written instructions regarding how to use the stove, which was tricky. The kitchen was not well stocked with basics. Parking was very stressful.
