Swimming pool Breakfast Bath

Individually cooked breakfast came out freh and prompt

Shower hose needs to be replaced

Breakfast was excellent . The owners were very friendly . The location was quiet . There was a swimming pool available - we did not use it but a nice option. Parking was safe and not visible from main road

The postcode was not accurate enough for a first time visit , the approach road appears to be to a farm . The front door had no indication that it was other than a private property. I was looking for a building that looked like the online photo ( which is actually the back of the main house ) so was a bit confused . Not a problem for a second time visit. The Smart TV in the room was not connected to the internet so could not use 'apps' such as BBC Iplayer , or the Netflix button on the remote ( I do have a Netflix account but the app never loaded to be able to sign -in )

Location, free swimming pool, free parking, quiet, owner was very friendly and attentive. Gardens. Breakfast was amazing not had a hot breakfast served like that before excellent.

The room had a rather musky smell, and although the bedding appeared clean, it didn’t have a fresh or clean smell to it. There were also quite a few cobwebs around the room and bathroom. I didn’t use the teapot as it had noticeable tea staining. The room and bathroom were clean but very dated, although this was something I was aware of from the photos on Booking.com, so this wasn’t unexpected. One thing I was particularly uncomfortable with was seeing another guest bring their dog into the breakfast room. Although the dog remained under the table, the guest had been outside walking the dog and then came directly into the breakfast room with the dog before returning downstairs for breakfast. I personally didn’t feel this was appropriate in an area where food was being served.unless it was a medical dog. Overall, the main issues for me were the musty smell, cobwebs, stained teapot and the hygiene concern regarding the dog being brought into the breakfast area.
