A quiet, peaceful retreat next to the roaring rivers edge. The house layout is large and very comfortable… for the two of us, the living/dining area was perfect! The recreation room is a great addition, a bit cold to be out there’re in the winter, but for a family, the set up is really great! We shall return to this perfect, serene hideaway! We so enjoyed our time at The River’s Edge! First of all Tina reached out ahead of our stay to personally make sure we had the entry codes and to let me know that the early check in I requested would be allowed and to make sure I didn’t need anything else, which I really appreciated. But the home is what really matters here - and it’s spectacular. We went at Christmas time to spend time together as a family - myself, my husband and our two kids - 16 and 18 (home from college for the break). What a wonderful place to be enjoying much needed family time. There was plenty of room for our two adults and two big teens - plus our big dogs! Everyone was very comfortable and I got what I needed - a place where we could relax and be together. We LOVED the sounds of the river and it was a joy watching our dogs run around with the backdrop of the beautiful stream behind them. We spent mornings on the deck around the fire pit soaking in the sounds of nature. I will remember this home for future summer vacations because that swimming hole looks amazing. We drove to Yosemite Valley one afternoon and to Wawona for a second afternoon but the other days were spent playing games, doing puzzles and relaxing together at the house. Lastly - some rentals provide for only very basic needs and don’t provide any extras but we had everything we needed and more, which is always a nice bonus to discover.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this beautiful, comfortable home. The property is amazing! The surrounding area - uh duh - it’s Oakhurst, Yosemite and Bass Lake, hard to get better than that! Absolutely our #1 favorite rental ever!
