Great location to the golf courses. Clean house with a beautiful fire pit . I Would rent this place again.

This was a nightmare. I booked what seemed to be a beautiful chalet for my wife’s birthday. Based on the pictures the property seemed perfect. A week before Kelly calls asking if we could change to another property so they could accommodate another guest. Keeping an open mind I looked at the second property which seemed inferior. I told them no and they said my reservation would not change. The next day I receive an email it’s been cancelled. They told me it was double booked while VRBO advised that wasn’t the case. Me panicking told them I would consider the second property at a discounted rate as Kelly advised it was her favorite and a similar accommodation to the first. We reluctantly accepted but were weary of other reviews we saw. I tried to cancel that night and VRBO told me it would not be an issue advised me to let host cancel. They would not and would not offer a refund. I went to the property and it had ants and other insects, exposed wires, a leak and moldy smell in the basement, a hole in backyard covered by a piece of wood, and a large hole in the fence with a neighbors pit bull without a leash. This place was a hazard and completely incorrectly described! I would never stay at one of the properties Charlie or Kelly manage!

We thought the location was going to be much closer to the resort area so that was a little disappointing but the inside of the house was great and matched the pictures. The kitchen is very small, which was fine for us but something to take note of if that's important to you. Would stay here again!

Me and my husband get together with my best girlfriends and their husbands every year for NYE. It was my turn this year to choose the rental. My husband and I have spent a few weekends at the Crystal Springs Resort so we are somewhat familiar with the area and thought that it would be nice to return there and introduce the area to my friends (who live in CT). Unfortunately, this house did not live up to our expectations for the following reasons. First, the listing says 4 bedrooms - that is not entirely accurate as two of "bedrooms" do not have doors. For example, the "bedroom" with the two queens is actually a loft area that is open to the living room and kitchen area. Second, there is no bathroom in the basement where 2 of the bedrooms are located. If you're staying in the basement, you have to climb 1 set of steep stairs to the main floor and through the master bedroom to get to bathroom #1 or you have to climb yet another set of stairs to get to bathroom #2 in the loft area. Either way - you have to climb stairs and go through a "bedroom" to get to a bathroom. So awkward. Third, the furniture/appliances are super cheap and the place seemed to be quickly and haphazardly put together. For example, the electric fireplace in the basement was installed upside down - so it is useless, the recessed lights in the ceiling are falling down - so there are exposed wires everywhere, and the walls and ceilings are paper thin - so you can hear literally EVERYTHING that is happening in the house. Fourth, the place was not clean. The towels provided were damp and stained in several places; the floors were so dirty that they stained all of our socks and feet; the trash from the previous tenants was heaped on the side of house and spilling into the driveway; and the outdoor area was littered with cigarette butts. Lastly, the check-in process was bizarre. They asked for pictures of our IDs and license plate numbers for the "security check-points" but there were no security check-points. I inquired about this discrepancy after we arrived and was told that this listing is their newest property and there was some confusion between this listing and their other listings. As for the redeeming qualities, the beds were comfortable and the house is located very close to Mountain Creek Resort for those that wish to partake in winter activities.
